The Hybrids have been eradicated. The new CSA has retaken all of its colonies. Their final mission: retake U.N-controlled California.

John's identity is revealed as loyalties are tested when Ben carries out his personal agenda.

Father John wrestles with helping Leo's troubled family against the United Nations' peacekeepers, while a CSA reunion is cut short due to competing factions.

Fr. John is visited by an old friend. Elsewhere, the CSA plots its next move under LtCol Thetis's leadership as SGT "Wilkie" is suspected of losing Major Courtney to the enemy.

Fr. Formosus is short-handed in his ministry as a worsening U.N. crisis among them threatens Thetis's newfound camp. And a new recruit (Derek Boone, "The Hollow Point", "Dead Trigger") finds a home with the 42nd Platoon.

The Rebels face imminent danger from espionage inside the camp.

Fr. John returns to the 42nd Platoon with a miraculous discovery which raises the ire of a returning member of Ben's group, as the camp is hit with enemy infiltration.

Camp security is threatened when the U.N. kidnaps a CSA soldier, as a former Hybrid's reunification with a possible loved one sparks additional fear.

LtCol Thetis leads a manhunt to recapture a U.N. reconnaissance officer, as Erica vows to rid the world of Hybrids.

The battle lines are drawn when the 42nd marches onto the U.N.'s California-Nevada border, as a mysterious phenomenon places the world at a standstill.
