Joe is tormented by visions of Tom as a vampire and Chris as a werewolf.

An image of Victoria, hanging, appears in a photograph David takes of Barnabas and Carolyn.

Barnabas makes plans to travel back in time to prevent Victoria from being hanged.

1796 time period. We see the events just before Victoria is to be hanged as a witch then Barnabas returns to 1796 to try to save her.

1796 time period. In 1796 Barnabas meets Ben, Nathan and Victoria. He promises her that he has a plan to save her and Peter.

1796 time period. In 1796 Barnabas spares the life of Nathan Forbes in exchange for a confession. He then visits the docks for a snack.

1796 time period. Barnabas is shocked to find Crystal's body at Collinwood and is even more shocked to see Angelique. Angelique agrees to save Victoria for a price. Victoria hangs for the second time.

1796 time period. Angelique's spell saves Victoria but she vows never to release her hold over Barnabas. Later we see the final fates of Natalie and Nathan.

1796 time period. Ben surprises Natalie and Nathan and locks Barnabas in his coffin. In 1969 Willie sees the ghost of Josette crying and realizes that Barnabas is in danger.

In 1969, Willie releases Barnabas from his chained coffin.

Carolyn convinces Chris Jennings to move into Matthew Morgan's old cottage.

David locks Mrs. Johnson inside the cottage.

Amy asks why Quentin and David's plot against Carolyn involves her brother. Chris plans to go away before he turns into a werewolf.

Chris tells Maggie he'll visit his sister shortly, but he doesn't come. Carolyn goes to confront him, not knowing he has turned into a werewolf. Meanwhile, Elizabeth lies paralyzed in her coffin, psychically trying to warn Carolyn.

While walking through the woods, Carolyn is attacked by the werewolf.

Barnabas informs Chris about the attack on Carolyn. Amy burns Chris' blood-stained shirt.

Carolyn's friend Donna visits and is attacked by the werewolf.

The sheriff takes Chris into custody and Barnabas attempts to provide an alibi.

Chris tells Barnabas of the night when he first changed into a werewolf.

The spirit of Quentin Collins poisons Chris. Julia and Barnabas find him unconscious.

Beth Chavez's ghost warns Amy that Quentin is trying to poison Chris.

Quentin and David feel threatened when Amy tries to tell Elizabeth about the game they play together. Maggie punishes David by taking the phone he uses to contact Quentin. David feels he must go to Quentin directly.

After Maggie punishes David, he threatens to get even. In the west wing, Maggie sees Quentin.

Maggie Evans tells Elizabeth Stoddard about a strange man she has seen in the abandoned west wing of Collinwood.

Maggie finds allies who believe her in Mrs. Johnson, Barnabas and Professor Stokes, who proposes a seance to contact the spirit of medium Janet Findley.

The ghost of Beth appears to Chris and shows him a place in the woods where a child's coffin is located.

Barnabas contacts elderly jeweler Ezra Braithwaite to learn about the pentagram found in the child's coffin.

Quentin's ghost appears to Ezra, who realizes he is the same Quentin he knew at Collinwood as a young man.

Roger returns from a trip and learns that Barnabas has accused David of stealing Ezra's record book.

When Chris begins to feel he is changing, Barnabas rushes him to the mausoleum secret room.

Ned Stuart reveals that Chris was engaged to his sister. Under Quentin's influence, David writes a story about freeing a werewolf and then goes to where the werewolf is locked up.

Quentin appears to David and causes him to feel as if he were on fire.

While Maggie searches for David and Amy, she hears Quentin's maniacal laughter.

Quentin attempts to attack Maggie in the presence of Amy and David.

Elizabeth and Julia are convinced that the children are possessed by a pair of ghosts.

Professor Stokes performs an exorcism on Collinwood, but Quentin sets the room on fire.

Everyone abandons Collinwood and Quentin's laughter is heard echoing through the empty mansion.

David and Amy sneak into Collinwood and destroy the antique telephone used to communicate with Quentin.

After searching for Maggie, Barnabas finds her dressed in a 19th century gown, unable to remember her name.

When Sabrina sees Barnabas' wolf's head cane, she begins to remember what happened two years earlier.

In the secret room of the mausoleum, Barnabas and Julia discover Chris is a werewolf even though there is no full moon.

Julia decides there is a connection between Chris and Quentin. Barnabas and Maggie search the west wing.

Barnabas insists on using the I Ching wands to make contact with Quentin and to save David.

1897 time period. Magda sends Sandor to the mausoleum to steal some jewels.Beth gives a cold shoulder to Quentin.

1897 time period. Sandor releases Barnabas from his coffin. Quentin chokes Magda then gets her to help him with Edith. Barnabas moves into the Old House.

1897 time period. Barnabas introduces himself at Collinwood. Quentin holds him at sword point.

1897 time period. Barnabas gets permission to live in the Old House then he asks Beth about the children. Quentin demands that Edith tell him the family secret.

1897 time period. Judith keeps Quentin from harming Edith. Edward brings Rachel to Collinwood to act as governess.

1897 time period. Edith dies of shock at seeing Barnabas and before she can reveal the family secret. Carl Collins tries to shoot Barnabas.

The Collins family members argue about who knows the family secret. Rachel sees a light in the tower room.

Barnabas denies knowing the secret. The family looks for Edith's will. Quentin and Evan plot to forge a will in Quentin's favor, and Quentin tricks Jamison into helping him.

Barnabas and Judith discuss the missing will. Barnabas threatens Quentin over the missing will. Barnabas sees the I-Ching wands. Later he becomes friendly with Rachel.

Edith's ghost terrorizes Quentin. Quentin and Evan get Sandor to forge the will. Later Quentin and Evan decide to perform a supernatural ceremony to summon help against Barnabas. A skull appears in the flames.

Angelique answers Quentin's summons and agrees to act against Barnabas. She quickly notices Barnabas and Rachel together.

Angelique harms Rachel with a spell but Dirk interrupts. Angelique lets him believe that she is one of Quentin's women. Later she hypnotizes Rachel.

Barnabas finds Rachel in his coffin. Later he asks Magda for protection against Angelique. Rachel catches Beth with a doll that's not Nora's.

With Magda's help Judith finds the will. She is sole heir to the Collins fortune. Quentin is very cozy with Beth.

Worried by all that she has seen Rachel goes to Magda for help. Later someone sets a fire in Edward's room.

Jenny Collins attacks Rachel and locks her in the tower room. She then attacks Judith.

Jenny attacks Judith with a knife. Beth helps to restrain her. Rachel has a cozy chat with Barnabas. Barnabas sees the tower light and investigates.

In the tower room Angelique warns Barnabas about the dangers of trying to change the past. She shows him a vision of a cloaked figure staking him in his coffin.

Magda sees the figure of death on Quentin. Jenny hears Quentin's music and looks for him with a knife.

Jenny stabs Quentin and leaves him to die. Barnabas later finds Dirk leaning over the body.

Dirk finds Quentin's body. Barnabas asks for Angelique's help in saving Quentin.

Quentin lies in his coffin in the Collinwood drawing room. Carl berates Quentin as Judith tries to calm him. Later Jamison is possessed by Quentin.

Rachel wakes from a dream to find Quentin in a chair in her room.Barnabas' ritual lures Quentin back to his coffin but later Quentin abducts Rachel.

Quentin buries Rachel but Sandor rescues her. When Barnabas rises from his coffin Quentin is there waiting. Barnabas tries another ritual to save Quentin.

Quentin returns to the grave site. Barnabas tries to restore Quentin's spirit to him. Gregory Trask arrives in Collinwood.

After Trask prays Quentin seems normal. Judith is very impressed with Gregory.

Trask's plans for a school at Collinwood affect Rachel. Charity Trask arrives.

Quentin searches for Jenny. Nora has a vision of her mother in flames.

Nora sneaks out of Collinwood to search for her mother in the woods.

Laura returns to Collinwood. Quentin sees her and claims that he saw her die in Alexandria.

Edward allows Laura to stay at Collinwood. Quentin reacts violently. Rachel is friendly to Tim.

Laura causes Quentin to experience a fiery pain. Angelique agrees to revive him if Barnabas will marry her.

Quentin sees Laura staring into the fire when he enters Collinwood. Judith catches him searching Laura's room. Mrs Trask arrives.

Magda hides Rachel in the Collins mausoleum. At Worthington Hall, Jamison resists both Tim Shaw and Gregory Trask, and Trask locks him in a closet.

Tim betrays Rachel to Trask. Laura communicates with Nora through a spell and later demands the release of the children.

Tim rescues Nora from the fire that Laura caused and takes her to Collinwood. Quentin asks Magda for help in locating Laura's magic urn.

Quenton finds Laura's urn and extinguishes it. Laura gets the warmth she needs from Dirk.

Jamison has a dream about his mother so he comes home with Charity to see Laura. Laura tells him that Quentin is trying to kill her. Quentin has a long talk with Charity.

Barnabas after seeing Laura tells Charity that He saw Laura over a hundred years ago. Later Barnabas finds a century old portrait of Laura.

Magda warns Barnabas that when Charity collapsed Trask found the neck marks left by Barnabas. Sandor finds the 1785 tomb of Laura Stockbridge Collins.

Barnabas and Sandor open the coffin of Laura Stockbridge Collins and find it empty. Later Barnabas learns that Quentin saw Laura die by fire in Egypt.

Quentin demands that Laura leave Collinwood. He shows her a cable message from Egypt that references her death certificate. Laura accuses him of ruining Jamison. Barnabas summons Laura in a ceremony.

Quentin interrupts the ceremony but confirms to Barnabas that Laura wants the children for some purpose. Laura asks Dirk to release Jenny.

Dirk releases Jenny who attacks Judith and gossips with Barnabas. Later Quentin goes to the Old House to kill her.

Beth keeps Quentin from killing Jenny. Magda is shocked to learn that Jenny is still at Collinwood.

Magda threatens to curse Quentin if he kills Jenny.

Jenny is disturbed by seeing Barnabas in his coffin. After Jenny overhears Beth and Quentin talk of their love she attacks Quentin.

Quentin kills Jenny. Magda curses Quentin.

Magda curses Quentin for killing Jenny.

Judith fires Beth. Quentin lies to Judith about his departure. At sunset over Jenny's grave Magda recites the curse.

The curse strikes Quentin as he asks Beth why she is carrying a doll to the village. At Trask's school Dorcas gets friendly with Trask but is later murdered. Beth finds Quentin in a horrible state.

Quentin knows the curse hit him but he does not know what exactly happened to him. Beth and Evan realize that Quentin may have killed Dorcas Trilling. Evan suggests the use of a pentagram.

The pentagram protects Beth from the werewolf. Jamison escapes from the school.

Beth points a gun at the werewolf as he is about to attack her. Barnabas comes along and with the help of his silver cane drives him away. Laura and Jamison plan to leave Collinwood.

Barnabas questions Beth about the attack. Laura confronts Barnabas and demands access to her son. Later Laura finds the diary of Ben stokes.

Barnabas interrupts Laura when she and Dirk dig up the grave of Ben Stokes.Later Dirk finds Barnabas' coffin and Laura realizes he is a vampire.

Laura opens Barnabas' coffin and raise a stake to his heart then Angelique stops her and chats about the past. Angelique mentions seeing Laura's portrait back in 1795.

Angelique and Quentin perform a ritual to expel Laura but Jamison interrupts it. Laura calls upon Ra for revenge.

Angelique goes up in flames as Laura collapses in Dirk's arms. Magda tells Barnabas that Laura knows he is a vampire. Later Barnabas bites Dirk.

Angelique surprises Laura and recommends that in her next life Laura do a better job of choosing her enemies.

Barnabas uses his vampire powers to enter the room the children are in and save them from Laura's fire. Edward does not believe his explanation of how he got past the locked door. Evan tries to help Quentin.

Quentin and Evan grow suspicious of Trask's involvement with Judith and other women.

Beth reveals to Magda that Jenny had twins. Evan puts a spell on Tim to poison a drink.

Evan continues his instruction of Tim Shaw in the art of poisoning drinks. Barnabas calls a young Ezra Braithwaite about the pentagram.

Barnabas bites Beth to get her to talk about Quentin's curse and his children. Magda shoots the werewolf with silver bullets.

Magda shoots the werewolf with silver bullets. When Barnabas objects to the idea of Quentin's death Magda replies that silver bullets are effective against him too. Magda resolves to help Quentin's children.

A puzzled Jamison tells Barnabas of his dream about Quentin and David Collins.

Barnabas orders Beth to guard him during the day when he lies vulnerable in his coffin.

Dirk reveals Barnabas' secret to Jamison. After Jamison discovers his coffin, Barnabas attacks Dirk.

Edward investigates Jamison's story about a coffin in the basement of the Old House.

Pansy Faye, a mentalist friend of Carl's, attempts to locate the missing Dirk.

Minerva tells Charity she should marry Carl. At Evan's prompting, Tim poisons Minerva.

Rachel suggests a hiding place for Tim, where he sees a mysterious coffin.

Judith offers her condolences to Trask. Dirk attacks Tim, Judith and Rachel.

Dirk tells Barnabas he must bring Laura back to life. Dirk forces Judith to shoot Rachel.

Edward follows Judith to the abandoned cellar and discovers that Dirk's coffin is hidden there.

Gregory Trask is forced to absolve Tim of guilt for Minerva's murder. Carl hears Pansy's voice in the graveyard.

Magda returns with a mysterious box containing the hand of Count Petofi, which she says has magical powers.

Quentin locks Carl in the secret room of the Collins Mausoleum, where Barnabas' coffin is located.

Barnabas suspects that Carl has revealed his secret. Trask accuses Barnabas of murder.

Barnabas finds his coffin chained and protected by a cross. He commands Charity to hide him in the school.

Trask tries to use Charity to trap Barnabas. As Barnabas is about to bite Charity, Nora appears.

The hand of Count Petofi is used to perform a procedure on Charity. Evan Hanley confronts Barnabas.

In an attempt to take control of the Collins family and wealth, Trask persuades Judith to marry him.

Edward is horrified that Judith has altered her will. Magda uses Petofi's hand hoping to cure Quentin.

Charity dreams of a romantic interlude with Quentin while his music plays in the background.

Evan steals the hand of Count Petofi. Barnabas makes an attempt to free the werewolf.

Judith has nightmares and visits the grave of Minerva. She begins to believe that she is Minerva.

Trask and Evan conjure up the spirit of Minerva to frighten and threaten Judith.

After a jail guard is attacked, Quentin escapes. He and Judith encounter the ghost of Minerva.

Evan and Trask try to convince Judith to sign a paper committing her to a sanitarium.

Quentin and Magda summon Angelique to help them recover the missing hand of Count Petofi.

Victor Fenn-Gibbon observes as Angelique conducts a ceremony using the hand to help Quentin.

A gypsy named Julianka tells Barnabas she has come to end the curse in return for the hand.

Aristede sets in motion a curved blade which will kill Quentin unless Aristede can get Petofi's hand.

In the woods, Julianka the gypsy is found dead with a strange mark on her forehead.

The spirit of Julianka appears but refuses to help and lays a curse on Magda for stealing the hand.

Following Sandor's death, Magda learns that Quentin's son has also died.

Petofi's hand reappears to Magda. Aristede enlists Tim Shaw's help in regaining the hand.

Victor explains that he once owned the hand of Petofi. Magda soon realizes that he is Petofi.

After Petofi leaves Collinwood, it is discovered that Jamison Collins has been possessed by him.

Charles Delaware Tate arrives to paint Quentin's portrait. Charity thinks she is Pansy Faye.

Trask is tricked into signing a confession that he killed his wife Minerva.

As Charity looks at Quentin's portrait, its features change to look like those of a wolf.

Aristede reveals that Tate's artistic talents were a special gift from Petofi.

Jamison finds the book of the Collins family history and asks Magda how Barnabas travelled through time.

A woman attacked by the werewolf dies. Charity accuses Quentin of being the murderer.

Aristede's medallion fails to cure Quentin's daughter Lenore. Magda summons a spirit to help.

At Trask's suggestion, the possessed Edward begins to strangle Quentin.

Tim returns to town with Amanda Harris, along with a box containing the hand of Count Petofi.

Jamison, desperate to find the hand, forces the truth from Nora, who has hidden it for Tim.

Barnabas brings the hand to Aristede. Petofi soon recovers and his hand is reattached.

Petofi says he will cure Jamison if Barnabas will reveal the secret of his travel through time.

Petofi causes Jamison to become possessed by the spirit of David Collins.

Quentin and Beth try to free Barnabas but are unable to overcome Count Petofi's powers.

Tate has finished the portrait of Quentin and realizes that Quentin is the werewolf.

Charity sees a vision which alarms Petofi. He causes her to believe she is Pansy Faye.

The gypsy king, Johnny Romano, arrives looking for the hand of Petofi.

King Johnny takes Magda to the gypsy camp and accuses her of counterfeiting the hand.

Tate sees the brooch Amanda is wearing and recognizes her as the woman he painted.

Charity drugs Beth to prevent her from going to the gypsies.

Armed with a gun containing silver bullets, Trask waits for the werewolf to emerge.

Trask is the intended victim of Angelique's spell. Petofi arrives with a mysterious portrait.

Quentin does not change when the full moon rises, but discovers his portrait has.

Tate is shocked when he sees his portrait of Quentin now depicts the image of a wolf.

Barnabas sends Magda to warn Quentin. Petofi offers to help Edward find Barnabas.

Edward imprisons Barnabas, but cannot bring himself to shoot the vampire.

In 1969, the ghost of Beth explains to Julia how Quentin originally died in 1897.

Using the I Ching wands, Julia is transported back to 1897.

Petofi prevents Beth from shooting Quentin, but Quentin must pay a price for his help.

Julia agrees to stay in 1897 and try to cure Barnabas of his vampirism.

Petofi forces Julia to tell him about the I Ching wands. He uses them and goes into a trance.

Barnabas learns where Julia is being held captive. Aristede tricks him into shooting her.

Angelique agrees to help Barnabas defeat Petofi.

Tate tells Tim of creating a man by drawing him and Tim kidnaps the creation.

Lady Kitty Soames arrives to visit Edward. Barnabas recognizes her as the image of Josette.

Charity follows Quentin to a cave and discovers a coffin with Barnabas inside.

Edward orders Barnabas' coffin be chained and the cave be sealed.

Quentin asks Amanda to marry him and leave Collinsport immediately.

Tate learns that Amanda and Quentin love each other. He steals Quentin's portrait.

Petofi discovers he must have a body to inhabit if he is to reach the future.

Quentin is delayed leaving with Amanda when he learns his portrait is missing.

Angelique threatens Quintin unless he agrees to return to Collinwood with her.

Kitty dreams of Angelique bringing gifts from a suitor, and finds them at her bed when she awakens.

Kitty sems to become Josette. Petofi gives Quentin a ring with special powers.

Petofi demonstrates his powers by blinding Quentin and then curing him.

Quentin plays the piano for Charity, but then tells her he could never play the piano.

Petofi's mind has taken over Quentin's body so that Petofi can have a body to inhabit in 1969.

Aristede finds a woman, Wanda Paisley, on whom Petofi may test the I Ching wands.

In 1897, Julia hears voices from the present. Angelique is puzzled by Quentin's behavior.

In Petofi's body, Quentin orders Kitty to steal Quentin's portrait. Quentin's wedding is set.

Angelique decides her marriage must be postponed. In a seance, Charity calls upon a spirit to appear.

Judith returns to Collinwood from the sanitarium. Dressed as Josette, Kitty visits Jeremiah Collins' grave.

Quentin convinces Evan that his mind is in Petofi's body. They pretend to hold a ceremony.

Petofi forces Evan to dig a grave. Gregory Trask learns that Judith is back and making new plans.

Angelique visits a mysterious cave. Charity tells Angelique that Quentin is not who he appears to be.

Quentin, whose mind remains in Petofi's body, explains the mind switch to Angelique.

Kitty writes a letter, dating it 1796. She is entranced by the portrait of Josette at the Old House.

A desperate Angelique tries to convince Aristede to save her.

Barnabas reappears at Collinwood, claiming to be a relative from England.

Barnabas' coffin is set afire. Trask later confronts Barnabas with a cross.

Kitty accepts Edward's marriage proposal, but later goes to Barnabas.

Petofi, in Quentin's body, watches Charles Delaware Tate use the I Ching wands in a ceremony.

Petofi enters the I Ching trance and moves through the door to the Collinwood of the present.

Petofi demands that Barnabas return the portrait of Quentin. Kitty realizes she is Josette.

Kitty is terrified of what will happen if she becomes Josette. Beth discovers the mind switch.

Using Petofi's power, Quentin attempts to reverse the mind switch.

Quentin, whom Aristede believes is Petofi, orders Aristede to stab Petofi, whom Aristede believes is Quentin.

Petofi recalls Aristede being pursued by Garth Blackwood, a sadistic prison master from England.

Trask asks Evan's help in influencing Judith. Blackwood's spirit seeks revenge on Aristede.

Judith orders Tim Shaw to brick up Trask inside Quentin's room.

Trask calls Judith on Quentin's telephone and begs for mercy. Blackwood locates Aristede.

Quentin is determined to leave Collinwood and tries to stay awake to keep Petofi from again possessing him.

Barnabas asks Angelique to help Quentin. Charity attempts to steal Petofi's glasses.

Blackwood sets fire to the cottage where Petofi has entered a trance. Charity sees a vision.

Kitty goes to Josette's room at the Old House, wearing Josette's wedding dress.

Barnabas follows Kitty. In the year 1796, Angelique taunts Josette on the cliff at Widows' Hill.

In 1796, Josette believes Barnabas has betrayed her. The Leviathans capture Barnabas.

The Leviathans greet Barnabas as their master and give him a mysterious box.

In 1969, Julia and Carolyn meet Megan and Philip Todd, who owns the antique shop.

Professor Stokes tries to restore Sabrina's memory. Julia is mystified by Barnabas' strange behavior.

In a dream, Oberon, the Leviathan, tells Barnabas how to recognize the chosen ones.

Barnabas gives Megan the Leviathan box. A sound indicates something may have escaped from it.

A mysterious stranger introduces himself to Carolyn as her father, Paul Stoddard.

The Leviathan child has come to stay with Philip and Megan.

Barnabas claims that Philip will be punished for allowing the Leviathan book to be stolen.

David Collins is mesmerized by the Leviathan sign of the Naga. Olivia Corey searches for the Tate painting.

The ghost of Jenny Collins warns Chris Jennings that he must find Quentin.

A seance is held to contact Quentin. Paul panics when he sees the Naga mark on his wrist.

A sailor at the Blue Whale is horrified to see the sign of the Naga on Paul Stoddard's wrist.

Barnabas reminds Paul of the unusual bargain he made twenty years ago.

Carolyn goes upstairs in the antique shop and hears strange breathing noises.

David reads the Leviathan book and takes something to the mysterious presence at the shop.

Julia allows Olivia Corey to photograph her Tate painting, leading Olivia to a surprising discovery.

Barnabas finds Carolyn is infatuated by a stranger and Elizabeth has a bizarre dream.

Julia recognizes the stranger who goes by the name Grant Douglas but he cannot recall his past.

Carolyn and Paul plan to leave Collinwood but Elizabeth invites him to stay.

Paul realizes that neither Elizabeth or anyone else will believe his warnings.

Roger becomes furious at Elizabeth for allowing Paul to return to Collinwood.

Grant's possessions give no clue to his identity but Olivia wants to help him.

Prof. Stokes has the landscape painting removed from the Tate canvas, revealing a portrait underneath.

David recognizes Grant as Quentin. Amy goes to the mysterious antique shop room.

Julia visits Harrison Monroe in the hope of learning more about Charles Delaware Tate.

At the shop, the new Leviathan child Michael terrifies David.

Barnabas is told that the Leviathans have Josette under their power.

Hoping to restore his memory, Julia and Olivia go to Grant to show him Amanda's portrait.

Stokes finds Paul after he has collapsed and takes him to the police.
