Da Vinci and Homicide investigate the death of 15-year old Jodie French at an unsupervised house party. The death was caused by a single gunshot wound to the heart, the gun in Jodie's lifeless hand. Although an initial look at the evidence indicates that it was a suicide, rumors float around Jody's school that a boy by the name of Peter Florick and Jody had an argument prior to her death.
