Macy is involved in a game of cat and mouse with a self-proclaimed forensics expert, Oliver Titleman, who is killing people in order to prove that he is smarter than Garret. Jordan thinks she hears someone being murdered through the vent system which is under construction and enlists Nigel and Peter to help her prove it.

Jordan is serving on a jury where a cop killer is being retried by DA Walcott.

Jordan and Woody investigate the death of a woman found near a local church where an old boyfriend of hers is the priest. Garrett is suspicious of a woman whose fifth husband has died.

Dr. Macy and Woody find a radioactive body because of a mysterious call. In the meantime, the morgue's newest staff member, Dr. Devan Maguire, is kidnapped by a group searching a plutonium package.

Garrett gets a tip on where a man, who committed a murder years ago who disappeared, is. So while he tries to find out if it's true. He has everyone look at all the evidence again. Woody finds himself working with Detective Garcia who was the one who originally handled the case. Garrett goes to New Mexico and tries to get help from the local ME and is joined by a bounty hunter who wants to bring the man in so he can collect the reward.

Woody and Devan investigate the death of a baby that occurred eighteen years ago. Devan enlists Nigel and Lily to help her identify the baby and her mother. Dr. Macy and Jordan work with DA Walcott and Detective Seely to prove that a man killed his estranged wife by throwing her down the stairs.

Jordan is called to a car crash and recognizes the dead driver as the suspected abductor of a teenager months earlier. Can she still be alive? Meanwhile Peter and Lily investigate a young man who had wormwood in his system.

Jordan and Devan are attending career day at a local high school when there's a police raid. They watch them get rough with one student and when he dies, there's a lot of assumption that the cops was too rough. So Jordan, Devan, and Macy try to find out what happened and learn that there was more to the boy than they thought. In the meantime, Woody, Lily, and Bug are investigating the death of an IRS agent and it takes them to a boarding house.

Macy and Peter, while responding to a call, come across a man who was hit by a car. Macy helps him while Peter freezes. Later Macy learns that the man who they turned over to some paramedics died upon arriving at the hospital. When he goes to speak to the ER doctor, the man refuses to discuss anything with Macy. He later discovers that several other accident victims died upon arriving at the same hospital. Woody and Bug look into the death of a journalist. They believe that his death may be linked to a story of his about a prostitute. A man arrives believing that the ...

A hiker is found dead along the Appalachian Trail, what looks like and accidental death begins to look suspicious after Jordan and Bug take a look at photos on the camera clutched in his hand. In the meantime Woody and Nigel look into a man who claims he's a vampire after a science fiction author he met with is found exsanguinated.

While Jordan is in charge of the morgue, an attractive widow asks Bug not to dissect her husband; Woody and Devon investigate a stalker.

A plastic surgeon is found dead in the special facility where his patients recuperate after surgery. Initially suspicion falls on the man's partner. Later the focus shifts to his wife because they discover that he has been unfaithful. And when the body of a girl who's runaway is found, a search for a man who was the last person to see her alive ensues.

Jordan tracks down her brother James with Woody's help.
