Michelle Laquatera is a mother of three who has got motherhood mastered. Like any other mom, she gets frustrated by the challenges of being a mother, and needs the shoulder of her best friend, Casandra Gordon, to cry on. But Casandra only offers condescending criticism on being a mother and thinks her career as a professional dog walker is far more difficult.

Denise Darby, mom to 3 young boys, lives the life of a single parent - even though she's not actually single. Her husband, Darren, is a pro boxer, and when he's not working his day job as a delivery driver, he's working out. Darren views Denise's mat leave as a paid vacation and says if she could just apply positive thinking to her housework, her life would be happier. But all Denise wants is her husband to show up and be with the kids.

Ellen Reid is a very hands-on Mom, with high standards. No TV or junk food for this family. Ellen's brother Jim Bob says she should tackle a construction job if she wants to know what real work feels like. Jim Bob works full time in the construction industry. According to him, Ellen and his sisters have it easy. In fact, it's due to his big mouth and loose comments that he's found himself in this Crash Test Mommy position in the first place.

We all know that stress can be dangerous, but that's especially true for Sheryl Ellingson. A diabetic mother of three, Sheryl knows that she has to keep her stress level in check, or there will be serious consequences. And having one of the world's laziest men for a husband doesn't really help matters. You'd think that when he gets home from work Adrian would be welcome help to the tough daily routine of raising three young children, not add to the mess. Carrie Matson is a busy woman. As a mother of five kid, three dogs and another bun in the oven, her schedule is jam-packed. Carrie's biggest critic, Stephanie Swanson, is Carrie's best friend and basement tenant, and is convinced with a little planning, being the newest Crash Test Mommy is going to be a breeze. Stephanie criticizes Carrie for her dependence on her children, her lack of organization, and the monstrous pile of laundry that resides in the living room. Stephanie often hurts Carrie with insults on her parenting, which is making their friendship suffer.

Jane Scallon is a super mom. She has the ability to juggle two babies, a pre teen, and a fitness company. Her husband, John Scallon, is a self centered aged rocker who always gets his way. Jane wants John to appreciate all the work she does around the house and for her family, but she also has a hidden agenda for the weekend.

Jocelyn McIntosh is a teacher on maternity leave who cherishes every moment with her two kids. The case is different however, for husband Kyle McIntosh. Kyle is putting all of his energy into his store, Valley Toys, with the intention of taking care of the kids - after he's made his millions. Jocelyn feels that lately her life has become one long detention, with every day a living mantra of go-go-go and rush-rush-rush. Kathleen's husband Paul is a former military man who believes that if Kathleen's schedule was just a little more regimented both their lives would be a whole lot easier. But the last thing Kathleen needs to hear is more griping from the man who relaxes at night and spends time off-roading with his buddies on the weekend, leaving her with no downtime for herself. Gordon Bailie Junior is a stay at home father with two beautiful boys, Sean (3 yrs.) and Connor (8 months). Gordon Jr. wants to hear from his father that he's a good dad and wants Gordon Sr. to stop his incessant criticisms that he calls "suggestions". Gordon Sr. says the suggestions are for junior's own good and he could be a better father if he just listened.

Amber Ramdeen is a stay at home mother of two energetic little girls, Rylee and Rhaya, who is busy from the time she gets up until the time she goes to bed every night. Six year old Rylee never gets tired of asking questions and two year old Rhaya just never gets tired, leaving mom exhausted at the end of her day. Ambers' cousin Krista just doesn't get it. She thinks Amber is exaggerating A LOT about how tiring it really is. Krista can't wait to have kids and stay at home with children for a vacation from work. Amira Guerra is a mother of two with a relatively laissez-faire attitude towards parenting compared to Lawrence, her control freak of a husband. Lawrence is extremely critical of his wife's approach to handling the kids and is convinced he could show her a thing or two on how to keep an orderly household. As a last resort to save their relationship, Lawrence has taken on the role of Crash Test Mommy and by the end of the weekend Amira needs Lawrence to appreciate her and the kids in order to make things better.
