Akisa exchanges bitter words with her mother, Esther, as word of their loss spreads. Meanwhile Vivienne eyes an aggressive land grab in Tsilanga.

Mwalimu's brothers object to his final resting place as people start falling ill after the funeral. Vivienne and Max bend the law to get what they want.

Vivienne takes a trip into the dark events of her past. Back in Nairobi, Akisa faces setbacks at work as a damning video of the mine lands on Joe's desk.
