Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe

Commando Cody is introduced to his two new assistants, Joan and Ted. He briefs them on continued missile attacks on Earth and the steps being taken to stop them and track down the source of the attacks. Agents working for an unknown enemy are ordered to sabotage Cody's latest project. Commander Cody not only has to stop the sabotage but root out and expose the gang while ensuring the safety of his own team

A strange rocket crash lands on Earth containing a secret agent. The agent is carrying a modified fuel which he intends to let Commando Cody use to test his rocket. Once the agent is satisfied the new fuel works well enough he intends to steal Cody's rocket and return to his home world with a powerful new weapon for the supreme leader.

Commando Cody sets out for Venus to destroy an outpost that his archenemy The Ruler has installed there. However, the Ruler has a surprise for Cody: he has coated Cody's spaceship with chemicals that will cause his cosmic dust blanket to destroy it.

Agents of The Ruler, by using intense cloud-seeding, create massive rainstorms that pound the Earth. The Ruler informs the Earth authorities that unless the cosmic dust blanket that is preventing his ships from attacking Earth is removed, he will ensure that the Earth is destroyed by floods. Cody and his team must find the Ruler's ship that is controlling the cloud seeding and eliminate it before Earth is forced to removing the protective blanket.

The Ruler develops a ray gun that can slip poisonous toxins through Earth's protective dust blanket and plans to poison the Earth with various lethal germs. Commando Cody must find and destroy the ray gun before The Ruler can carry out his plans.

As an example to other planets that might oppose him, The Ruler decides to destroy Earth's entire solar system. Stationed on a planet just outside the solar system, his minions work on darkening the sun. As Earth begins to dangerously cool down, Commander Cody makes plans to fly into space to eliminate the threat, but finds that for some reason his dust blanket is making it impossible to leave Earth's atmosphere.

The Ruler sends a robot to steal certain papers that reveal the secret of Commando Cody's dust blanket. Cody manages to stop the robbery, but the Ruler's minions capture Dick Preston, and they use a mind-control ray on him to get him to steal the papers himself.

The Ruler sets off a huge explosion on the Moon which causes it to move out of its orbit. This results in huge storms on earth, and the dust blanket that protects the planet begins to weaken under the tremendous pressures. The Ruler is planning more explosions in order to finish off the Earth once and for all, but Commando Cody must thwart the Ruler's nefarious plans and save the Earth.

The Ruler's latest plan to destroy the Earth includes multiplying the number of suns, thereby causing tremendous heat waves to envelop the planet. Cody discovers the identity of the henchmen the Ruler has assigned to carry out this plan, and trails them in order to find out where the equipment they will use to duplicate the suns is hidden, but a sudden dust storm makes it increasingly difficult for Cody to follow them, and if he loses them he knows the Earth may well finally be destroyed.

One of the Ruler's agents makes it through the Earth's protective dust blanket and begins to put into place a plan code-named "Phase 32"--using a super-magnet to pull the Earth off of its axis and send it hurtling toward Jupiter. This results in half of the planet starting to burn, and the other half starting to freeze. Commando Cody must find out where the super-magnet is hidden and destroy it before it can complete its task.

Knowing that Commando Cody's spaceship has special equipment that allows it to pass back and forth through the cosmic dust blanket that protects the Earth, The Ruler comes up with a plan to steal the ship and use its technology to build a fleet of ships with the same capability, thereby enabling him to finally invade and conquer the Earth. He sends a spy posing as a defector to convince Cody to travel to the planet Mercury, which is occupied by The Ruler, and take over the ship on the way there and deliver it--and Cody--to The Ruler.

Commando Cody captures one of The Ruler's officers and forces him to call The Ruler to the planet Mercury--which his forces occupy--using his own spaceship as bait to entice The Ruler to come; Cody then plans to end the menace of The Ruler once and for all. He discovers a resistance group on Mercury, but at first they're suspicious of Cody's motives, and he must convince them of his real intentions in order to enlist their help in capturing The Ruler.
