An evil sollicitor and his boys vows revenge on Big Tim Champion after a brawl. Champion want to send Corky to a school, however his uncle Joey want to take care of him. On the road, they received a tip that Champion would be attacked by the same mob...

Corky meets a retired elephant trainer and Mr Champion hires him. However, some bad luck comes along the way with his presence, mostly rain, fire in the menagerie, and a tiger on the loose.

A lion trainer, the Great Gambino, gets attacked by one of his felines due to his violent ways, and has Big Tim Champion thinks about this performer's future.

As an arrogant horse rider gives Corky a hard time for several reasons, he decides to run away from the circus. As the crew looks for him, he befriends an officers who breeds a camel named Mr. Sinbad.

A circus veterinarian arrives in time to avoid a county officer to quarantine the Circus' winter quarters, however, this decision's might affect Pop's animal responsibilities...

With the bridge out after a thunderstorm, the Burke & Walsch circus won't make it to Carson City in time for the Territorial Day celebration. Corky suggests his new friend Casey Perkings could transport the entire troupe using his steam engine No 1. However, neither the old engine nor the track to Carson City have been made use of in years, leading to several obstacles along the way.

A friend asks for Joey's help to impress his fiancee's son.

A former circus clown who works for a rich stable owner and his snooty daughter gets hired by the circus again after losing his job due to an incident.

All evidence points to some Comanche Indians who are traveling with the circus when the beautiful draft horses used to pull the circus wagons are stolen.

When Corky saves a boy from drowning, the boy invites him to visit his home and meet his father, the King of the Gypsies.
