Cher as Laverne daydreams that she has her own variety show. Wayne Newton covers the tune "Feelings. Cher performs her hit "Witchy Woman." The Spinners sing "Can't Believe I'm Falling in Love."

Cher welcomes guest Ray Charles who sings "Livin' for the City." Cher joins him a medley of hit tunes. Cher teams up with Kermit the Frog for "That Old Black Magic."

Cher welcomes guest Jerry Lewis who's his usual frantic self as a Jewish sheriff and a put upon movie goer. Cher performs the hit "Rhinestone Cowboy." David Essex sings "Hold Me Close."

In a parody of the hit TV series "Welcome Back Kotter" (1975) Dion, Frankie Avalon and Franke Valli join Cher as wisecracking High School classmates.

The Christmas show opens with Cher singing White Christmas and segueing into We Need a Little Christmas. After introducing the show, she puts on a beard to play Santa to daughter Chastity (now Chaz Bono). Then the Hudson Brothers sing Here Comes Santa Clause to introduce a comedy skit of a court case involving the characters from 'Twas The Night Before Christmas, with Redd Foxx as the judge. This is followed by another skit featuring Cher visited by some ghosts of sailors a la Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Then is a dialogue with Redd Foxx who delivers an inspired ...
