If there is one notable feature of the geography of the United Kingdom, that feature is its castles, and the history that is still being written about them could fill entire libraries.

From Neuschwanstein to Colditz, we take a look at Germany's most historic and legendary castles.

We take a look at the Spanish mysteries that still survive today, and explain the legends which, either real or fictitious, have been passed down to us almost intact.

Portugal's castles are closely related to the Order of the Temple and to the creation of Portugal as an independent territory from the Muslim and Spanish kingdoms. Did the Templars hide their secret treasure in any of the castles they built and occupied for more than 200 years?
