In the pilot episode of this series, attorney Teresa Lagos fights for the inmates in Capadocia, a Mexico City women's prison. One of the inmates is a young housewife named Lorena whose life has taken a dark turn. Meanwhile, Regina--queen of the prison mafia--faces off with her former underling Bambi.

The extraordinary beauty of an inmate known as 'The Colombian' lands her under the control of Bambi. Meanwhile, a frivolous fashion show officially kicks off the production of Captive lingerie.

Sofia makes a decision that gets her in big trouble. Meanwhile, a fight erupts in Capadocia leading to conflicts between Teresa and the security chief, Isabel.

The prison welcomes Marion, a virtuous nun caught carrying cocaine. Elsa, an inmate separated from her newborn son, goes deeper into depression. Magos tells Lorena her story of poisoning her small children to save them from a living hell. Outside, Teresa has her own family troubles. And the prison's Mother's Day party sees an astonishing end.

Antonia is a transsexual sentenced to prison in a male penitentiary. The Bambi goes to Capadocia and the Colombian can't avoid nervousness. Lorena is unjustly sentenced to 30 years in prison for aggravated homicide.

A kidnapping leads lovers to the prison. The Colombian's disappearance leaves Isabel furious and Bambi insane. Teresa convinces the judge to re-open Lorena's case, which upsets Santiago.

A powerful madam accused of white slavery arrives at the prison. Meanwhile, Bambi discovers Lorena's chemistry skills, which could help in a new drug operation. Teresa learns the identity of Santiago's past lover and tells Burian.

Germán killed his wife and blamed it on the housekeeper, Guadalupe, an Indian who doesn't speak Spanish. Andrea visits Daniel, determined to finally give up her virginity.

A series of murders of elderly women have the police confused. The culprit is Angela, who is finally caught. Meanwhile, Teresa decides then to put her time and effort into Lorena's legal defense.

The absence of Teresa in Capadocia is unsustainable. After being released from her first conviction, Lorraine now faces trial for the death of the Bambi.

A "saint" comes to Capadocia for not making a miracle to a deputy and with her arrival, unexpected events start to happen. Joel decides to steal in order to rescue Sophia but he is discovered and she has an abortion.

After learning about the relationship between Teresa and Daniel, Andrea robs a jewelry store to be discovered. Teresa tries to free some inmates. Isabel finds drug in a lingerie.

Season One Finale. When the security video falls into the hands of the Governor's political enemies, the police issue a warrant for Andrea's arrest. Santiago quits as Governor and a candidate for president. While Teresa gets ready to escape Mexico with her daughter, Andrea turns herself in. After announcing that what she did was a mistake, Andrea is sentenced to prison.
