Chunlai, a peasant from Shaanxi, goes to Beijing in search of a buyer, where he meets Bayi and Kaixuan.

Bayi, Kaixuan, and Golden Tooth go to Shaanxi. Meanwhile, in the US, Shirley gains inspiration from Professor Chen's gibberish.

Surviving the monstrous fish, Bayi and his companions arrive at Gulan County, where they meet a mysterious soothsayer.

Bayi, Kaixuan, and Golden Tooth haggle with Li Chunlai, but the mysterious soothsayer delivers a warning to Bayi. Meanwhile, Shirley prepares to go to Beijing.

Bayi and his companions run from Bold Ma's gang, and contemplate the soothsayer's message. Shirley looks for answers in Beijing.

Looking for Golden Tooth, Bayi and Kaixuan explore the Lost Caverns.

Escaping the caverns, Bayi, Kaixuan and Golden Tooth find a surprise at Wang's residence. Shirley reveals the past of her family.

Partridge Whistle and Master Liao Chen set out on the quest to find Mu Chen Gem, with the help from an enthusiastic pediatrician.

Partridge Whistle, Master Liao Chen, and Thomas brave the tomb under Black Water City to look for Mu Chen Gem.

Partridge Whistle barely escapes the tomb under Black Water City. Bayi and Kaixuan catch up on Shirley's past and set out to find the other half of clue to Mu Chen Gem.

Bayi and Shirley find out Blind Chen's secrets. Kaixuan and Golden Tooth find themselves at the mercy of Bold Ma.

Bayi, Shirley, and Kaixuan officially team up as the Mojin Trio and lead Bold Ma's gang back to the tomb under the Temple of Leviathan, only to find horrors therein.

The Trio, Golden Tooth, and Bold Ma's gang look for a way out from the spider's lair, and stumble into a peculiar chamber.

Ignoring Bayi's warning and his sentinel candle, Bold Ma opens an uncanny coffin, leaving everyone in serious trouble.

To escape the Soul Harvesting Stairs, Bayi and the others must take a leap of faith. Yet only horror awaits them below.

What's left of the gang struggle with the endless mysteries in the Lost Caverns, including a gigantic spider, a fountain of eternity, an intricate coffin that seems out of place, and a game of Go that seems too easy.

Trapped inside the Eight Diagrams, Bayi must race against time to stay alive.

With everyone else dead, Bayi, Shirley, Kaixuan, Golden Tooth, and Bold Ma escape from the Lost Caverns, the Dragon Book in their hands. With help from Blind Chen, the Trio trace Mu Chen Gem to the Worm Valley in Yunnan.
