The Bester's move to a Cape Town suburb hasn't been the smoothest transition, but nothing could prepare them for the chain of events that start with them crossing paths with their local neighbourhood watch. Tobie arrives back in his old hometown but realizes soon enough that things have changed.

The Besters are still basking in the afterglow of their big news when reality high tackles them. Johan sees his first bit of action on neighbourhood watch patrol, while Tobie runs into a few ghosts of his past.

Things become tense when Johan invites a new member to join the neighbourhood watch. Gert needs to cross his own personal Rubicon, while Tobie enjoys some quality time with a married woman.

Johan and Ayanda's testosterone-fuelled bravery evaporates after they get their first emergency call while on patrol. The neighbourhood sees some heavy action and everybody gets involved. Tobie's sessions with Frandi send him on his own midnight adventure.

The guys finally cross paths with the media, but learn the hard way that any PR isn't good PR. Johan is still in the dogbox about his reckless behaviour during "the incident", even though Yolandie only knows half the story. Luckily she's also got a secret or two.

Yolandie and Frandi decide to do something about the graffiti in the neighbourhood. Don chooses an inopportune night to go on patrol again, while Tobie and the laaities' get-together in the park snowballs into a misunderstanding of epic proportions.

After the guys' recent indiscretions Don has them on lockdown, making the neighbourhood watch a lot less fun. Gert's financial woes have led him into a new scheme, while Tobie unwittingly crashes into his destiny. Literally.

With the neighbourhood watch in tatters, Don follows his ego into the umbrella organisation's first meeting. Johan accidentally becomes the voice of corporate development, while Tobie takes Lisa on a picnic.

Don confronts Gert about Tobie and Lisa's recent night time escapades. Yolandie hosts an impromtu traditional Sunday luncheon for the neighbours. Fresh clues lead Captain Fredericks to Don's door.

Johan avoids reality (and Yolandie) by hiding out at Gert and Tobie's place. The guys go on aimless afternoon joyrides while Tobie looks for work. Yolandie tries to do something about her cabin fever.

Loadshedding spoils another day in suburbia. Tobie takes Lisa along on one of his more dubious errands. The guys finally confront Gert about his finances. Clive spends some quality time with the ladies.

The neighbourhood is in mourning. Johan's lies finally catch up with him. The tide turns against Don and he takes matters into his own hands. Tobie and Lisa's relationship takes a dramatic turn.

The neighbourhood has seen better days. Johan has to win back his wife, save the neighbourhood watch and stand up to Molendorf. Don's house of cards comes crashing down, while Tobie and Lisa is faces some big decisions.
