Ben, so he can score with pretty Sandrine, allows her to photograph his exploits on his skateboard. He plans to go down a very steep hill with his friend Thomas. However Ben panics and causes an accident in which Thomas is injured. Sandrine puts them in an embarrassing situation by revealing her report to the entire class.

Ben and Martine are overwhelmed, when they realize their feelings towards each other. Meanwhile, Cotard drags Ben and Thomas in a fight against another school's soccer team.

Ben and Thomas's professor announces the arrival of a new pupil from Sweden. Ben and Thomas succumb to the charms of beautiful foreign Liselott. Ben maneuvers to become her "tutor".

Thomas is not good in maths, and has to explain himself to his professor, Mrs. Vignes. She advises him to stay after class to get private tutoring. Angry, Thomas makes an anonymous call to her husband, saying she has an affair.

Ben and Thomas are frustrated about their science project which they judge is too hard to do and decide to cheat on someone else's work. Mr. Velzy, the professor, notices that Ben and Mercier, a Gothic teenager, handed in a similar paper. Since Ben is the intellectual one, the professor assumes that Mercier is the cheater...

Ben and Thomas, acknowledging the growing tension between them, come to an agreement. They will let Liselott choose whoever she likes best. Cotard gets trapped by Yvette. She threatens to reveal his scams if she does not get a foot massage from him...

Ben and Thomas go out for diner, and realize they forgot their money. They decide to dine and dash. Excited by the experiment, they decide to renew it in another restaurant. Feeling great about themselves, they invite two young girls to one of the best restaurant in town. After they told them they would take care of the bill, the boys run away. But Ben forgot his keys in the place...

Thomas is invited by other pupils to join a rap group led by charismatic Jimbo. He accepts even though he cannot sing. Too busy writing his songs, Thomas quits skateboarding, and his friendship with Ben, Martine and Liselott suffers.

Martine follows Mr. Darrette's art class, a man engaged in a fight against censorship. Martine skillfully paints skateboards, and secretly draws a caricature of Darrette, as an alcoholic, drinking vodka. Darrette finds out and asks Martine's parents to come see him...

There is a skateboard contest in Paris. Thomas wins the semi-finals.... Ben and Thomas meet two young girls who they have impressed.

Ben and Thomas get friendly with Yan, and a gang of popular dudes who seduce every girl in town. Yan invites Ben and Thomas at a party which does not turn out as they had planned.

Ben and Thomas buy a slalom board for their next contest. The store manager, Roger, propose to exchange the goods against Elise's phone number. At school, Ben and Thomas meet Timmi, a student from Senegal.

Martine receives a phone call from Little Jacques, an old friend who is coming back for a few weeks. When they meet again, Martine realizes Jacques has feelings for her.
