Warrior Dar, the last surviving member of the Sula tribe, sets out to rescue his enslaved, long-lost love, Kyra.

Dar teams with a banished Terron warrior to save his beloved Kyra, only for his new companion to be enchanted to fall in love with Kyra as well.

With the help of his animal friends, Dar rescues Tao from an island inhabited by the murderous Birdmen.

After finally being reunited with Dar, Kyra is captured by the Sorceress.

Dar races to retrieve a rare fire lily from a valley inhabited by Amazons to save the life of a young woman, Maleena.

Dar must fight to protect a young boy from the wrath of a demon named Curupira, who he recalls gave him his Beastmaster powers after a grueling three-day test.

Dar must summon all of his skills to end the killing rampage of the Umpatra, the world's greatest warrior, who is secretly backed by the magic of the evil demon Ketzwayo, Curupira's sworn enemy.

Dar and Tao must save the Princess's Unicorns from the Terrons, who want to kill the Unicorns for their horns which hold magical healing powers.

At the Black Apparition's behest, Ketzwayo returns from the dead with a deadly magic designed to kill off Dar and the entire animal kingdom of the Mydlands.

Dar must rescue the nymph who produces the water for the fountain of youth from a brutal Venatu warrior.

Aided by a mystic Shaman, Dar journeys to Valhalla, the place of memories, where he comes to terms with the savage slaughter of his Sula tribe at the hands of King Zad's Terron armies.

While Dar is fascinated by Zuraya, an animal trainer struggling against a dark curse, Baha tries again to have his revenge on Dar's tiger friend, Ruh.

In the Territories, King Zad issues a decree to his vassals: that they must sacrifice 5 men each month to his new beast. The beast is none other than the Minotaur of legend, a gift to King Zad from the Ancient One.

Dar and Tao travel in the Downs to find macadamia nuts for those rascally ferrets. On their way, they happen upon a group of pilgrims on their way to find answers concerning life and death.

Dar and Tao must protect a mystical baby from the evil King Zad, who believes the child will bring about his demise.

Dar meets a strange amphibious woman named Atlantia who is part of a mute ancient race. He must communicate with her and then gain her help to save Tao's life.

Among a tribe whose tales tell of protecting ancestors prowling the sea as dolphins, one mysterious dolphin helps Dar uncover a murderer in the guise of a friend.

The Sorceress is surprised when Sharak appears before her. The bird leads her on a journey that ends in the Burning Forest. The bird that she believed to be Sharak transforms into the Black Apparition - who is now her captor!

While Tao is introducing Dar to the finer points of map-making, Garuda, a golden phoenix in the guise of a man, begins to stalk the unsuspecting duo.

Terror strikes in the Mydlands and even the Terrons are running scared. The silent fear of the animals draws Dar to discover the skeletal remains of two fallen Terrons, killed by two arrows and vines that capture and dissolve their victims.

When Dar and Tao learn that the Terrons are holding Kyra captive once again, the two set out to rescue her.

Qord vows to seek revenge on King Zad and thinks killing Kyra and the BeastMaster will achieve his goal.
