A strong command of French is needed to really excel in French Clown School. Chip Baskets finds this out the hard way.

Chip is in jeopardy of being evicted from his hotel room because he's not making enough money at the rodeo. Martha needs to sell a Costco executive membership or she will be fired. A new, inexperienced clown comes to the rodeo; Chip offers to train him using the "classical" techniques he acquired in France.

Tragedy strikes when one of Martha's best friends is murdered by another one of her friends. Chip comes to Martha's aid in the aftermath.

Easter Sunday becomes more burdensome than expected for the Baskets family.

Against Dale's desires, he must ask Chip to watch his two daughters. Chip sees this as an opportunity to connect with his nieces. Mrs. Baskets is intent on getting to know Penelope.

Eddie gives Chip a great opportunity to be in the running for Mr. Rodeo, the top rodeo clown in the country. Family dinner and a visit from his adopted DJ twin brothers could ruin his chances.

Eddie forces Chip and Martha on a little road trip to settle some unfinished business; the cowboy way.

Chip must manage a medical emergency, while Dale blurs the line between chaperone and coach at his daughters volleyball game.

Chip remembers his time at clown school in Paris and how he met Penelope, while Christine remains in a diabetic coma in the hospital.

Mrs. Baskets returns home from the hospital, meanwhile Chip's life starts to unravel.
