VH1's Bands Reunited had tried to reunite the '80s new wave/electro-pop group Berlin, best known for "Take My Breath Away," the hit theme from Top Gun. Aamer had a successful reunion with early-80's new age band Berlin.

Bands Reunited program had attempted to reunite the group Romeo Void, known for post-punk hits like "Never Say Never." Aamer travels the globe to track down former band members and convince them to come together for a one time reunion.

The program describes the efforts to bring together the group "A Flock Of Seagulls" that brought us new wave hits "I Ran (So Far Away)" and "Space Age Love Song." Aamer successfully reunites the band and both Score brothers.

Ammar reunites Klymaxx, although one member refused to join due to professional and personal differences with the other band mates.

Although Frankie Goes To Hollywood members were brought together in the program studio, they did not go to the reunion for one time performance.

Popular synth pop band Kajagoogoo, whose debut single "Too Shy" was a big hit in '83, had a successful reunion.

Despite Aamer's aggressive efforts, the 90's rock band Extreme, best known for their acoustic ballad "More Than Words," could not be reunite.

Alternative rock band The Alarm, whose hits include "Stand" and "Sold Me Down The River," reunited successfully and have stayed together.

All members of New Jersey-based alternative rock/power pop band Dramarama reunited, performed "Anything, Anything (I'll Give You)," inspired band to get back together permanently.

Ammar tried his best, but it wasn't enough to reunite Squeeze, the pop rock group whose numerous hits include "Pulling Mussels (From The Shell)," "Black Coffee In Bed," and "Hourglass.
