Desperate to catch a serial killer, former cop Gu-tak Oh recruits three convicted criminals to assist. However, they are distracted from their duty when one of the recruits escapes.

On the way to the crime scene, Jeong Tae-su, the former hit man, unexpectedly stops the van and asks to visit a nearby neighborhood.

The police fail to respond fast enough to a kidnapping. Since Chief Nam can't rely on his people. He once again turns to Gu-tak and his 'Mad Dogs'.

The city is seeing a rise in human trafficking cases. While on the case, each of the three convicts revisit people from their past.

While Gu-tak and his team are passing by a city park. A man randomly opens fire causing multiple casualties.

Following Un-Cheol's ankle monitor signal, the team end up in an isolated area in the woods and face-to-face with a gang of black-suited men.

Two people are dead, but fingerprints found on the weapon point to a murder-suicide. Tae-su, however suspects something else went down.

Jung-moon finds the agent he hired 2 years ago to spy on himself, and learns of both his connection to Gu-tak and his serial killer incident.

Inspector Yoo Mi-yeong questions Gu-tak's motive for choosing these three convicts and the story of how they all met gets reveled.

Gu-tak confesses the truth about the team. Meanwhile, Jung-moon's fingerprints are found at the murder scene of Woong-cheol's friend.

After Chief Nam's phone call, Gu-tak senses something wrong and tracks him down. As soon as the team arrives at the site, several vans roll in.
