The first 40 of 160 competitors take to the course, facing the Quintuple Steps, Tic Toc to Net, Bridge of Blades, Doorknop Drop, Double Squirrel and Warped Wall. The top 16 will advance to the semi finals. The two people who record the furthest fastest times go head to head on an all-new obstacle, the Power Tower, for a 10 second time advantage in the semi final.

Some of the best ninjas return to battle against the strongest set of newcomer ninjas ever seen as the next 40 competitors take on the Quintuple Steps, Tic Toc to Net, Bridge of Blades, Doorknob Drop, Flying Shelf Grab and Warped Wall. Among the next 40 competitors facing the Quintuple Steps, Butterfly Wall to Zipline, Bridge of Blades, Bar Hop, Flying Shelf Grab and Warped Wall are some of the toughest ninjas as they battle it out for not just a place on the Power Tower and the chance to win a 10 second time advantage but also to be among the top 16 who advance to the Semi-Finals.

The last of the heats promises to be the most competitive in Australian Ninja Warrior history as eight former grand finalists, including the three who have previously been the furthest fastest, are among the final 40 competitors who take on the Quintuple Steps, Butterfly Wall to Zipline, Bridge of Blades, Bar Hop, Basket Toss and Warped Wall as they compete for the last 16 spots in the semi-final, with the two fastest ninjas of the night facing off on the Power Tower for a chance to win a 10 second time advantage.

The first of two semi-finals will see the first 32 competitors, including new and fan favourite ninjas, taking on the Snake Run, Rolling Log, Diving Boards, Ring Toss, Sling Shot, Warped Wall, Barrel Roll, Spider Jump and Invisible Ladder in one of the hardest semi-final courses ever. In the second of two semi-finals, among the last 32 competitors facing the Snake Run, Rolling Log, Diving Boards, Ring Turn, Sling Shot, Warped Wall, Barrel Roll, Spider Jump and Invisible Ladder are some of the series' biggest names, battling it out to be among the top 12 who advance to the Grand Final. The two furthest fastest competitors take each other on at the Power Tower for a second chance advantage in the Grand Final.

It's the first stage of the Grand Final, and 24 of the show's biggest names take on a brutal obstacle course, and also face a new enemy in the form of time, as they have to complete the Snake Run, Rolling Log, Diving Boards, Ring Turn, Flying Shelf Grab, Warped Wall, Ferris Wheel, Spider Jump and Chimney Sweep in 3 minutes 45 seconds or less in order to advance to the next stage.
