24 hours before the big match, that could decide if they relegate or not, the Atletico Textila players find out their owner (Gica) wants to disband them if they lose.

After the owner, Gica, has a heart attack and his clueless wife takes over the team, coach Traian's only solution to avoid relegation is trying to sign a professional football player, Adrian.

Upset that the players don't take her seriously and the coach mocks her behind her back, Raluca starts making changes. First order of business: new playing shirts for everybody. Pink ones.

Adrian is constantly making fun of how old-fashioned Traian is, to the point that Traian has to reprove himself in front of the team. Easiest way to do that: discredit Adrian. In the mean time, Vladut finds out that he has a secret admirer.

Leornard, the new striker, fails to pass the medical exam, but that doesn't upset him at all. He's still convinced he's better than everybody. Meanwhile, at the factory, Raluca just hooked some potential Italian clients.

The boys find out they're going to be refereed by a guy who hates their guts. But he's also a passionate fisher, so Traian decides to bribe him with a huge fish.

Raluca catches Traian drunk, yet again, so she decides to teach him a lesson and sends him to work in the factory. That quickly proves to be a mistake as Traian discovers he's a talented union leader.

Pusa opens a betting house to make some extra money. Traian bets she can't do it, so he immediately starts to sabotage her. Meanwhile, Vladut is under the impression he's on a lucky streak.

Father Ilie, the team's goalkeeper, is in danger of loosing his church if he doesn't sell more candles, so the whole team jumps in to help him meet the quota. Adrian and Leonard decide to settle their differences by fighting like real men.

Through a string of coincidences Traian believes he is Vladut's father, but Vladut doesn't mind at all, he immediately starts extorting his new daddy. Meanwhile, Costelus and Doina experience all the thrills of their new found love.

Nea Gica uses Costelus and Doina to get out of jail. The catch is that they have to get married in the next 72 hours and he has to be their godfather. But organizing a last minute wedding is not a problem for a resourceful guy like Gica.

Atletico Textila is challenged to a friendly game by one of the best teams in the world: Atletico Madrid. Raluca thinks they've struck gold. Stelea tells the boys about his lucky charm: a pair of old boxers made from Pele's shirt.
