Nadja is summoned to receive a package of gifts for her 13th birthday and discovers her mother is possibly alive. The Dandelion Troupe arrives in town, but so do two goons who are after Nadja.

After escaping the Dandelion Troupe, Nadja finds she has nowhere to go. She joins the performers and travels to London, only to experience an unexpected encounter.

American news reporter Harvey Livingston is hard at work investigating the Dandelion Troupe. The curiosity of a young samurai, Kennosuke Tsurugi, looses the Happy Carrier Car around London with Rita inside.

Nadja is nervous about dancing when she meets Christian Strand, an ambitious, clumsy archaeology student. The two go on a date together.

Nadja finds herself in the midst of ball, and, though initially mistaken for a maid, she is determined to join the festivities and possibly even dance with her Starry-Eyed Knight.

Nadja explores England with the help of Kennosuke and TJ in search of one of her mother's past dance partners. On the way they encounter Madeleine, a lost girl who must find her own mother.

After a near accident, Nadja is hired to dance at a masquerade ball. Little does she know that the ball is being held in honor of the Black Rose, and the real Black Rose may appear.

Nadja meets a traveling minstrel, Raphael, who is apparently known to the Dandelion Troupe, but especially Sylvie, who mourns for her unrequited love.

While helping Granny deliver hats to Mireille Moreau, Nadja stumbles into Leonardo and Thierry as well as John Whittard - a young, talented pianist busy composing.

On their day off, the Dandelion Troupe go shopping. After dealing with scammers and a certain haughty aristocrat, Nadja finds an interesting music box that plays a familiar tune.

Nadja meets up with Oliver, a childhood friend with a crush on her - much to TJ's dismay. With Rosso and Bianco after them, the three desperately try to escape.

The Dandelion Troupe's stop in Lorraine demonstrates George's proclivity for treasure hunting. Joined by Nadja and Kennosuke, he sets out on an epic quest to find the lost treasure of Jeanne d'Arc.

When the Dandelion Troupe stops at the Le Man Orphanage for a charity performance, Nadja encounters the White Rose once more and learns about 'noblesse oblige'.

When the troupe stops at a small village, Kennosuke befriends a young boy there. But he is hiding a grave secret, and the Alpine Flower Festival approaches.

The Saint Gotthard tunnel has caved in, halting Italy-bound trains for three days. The troupe offers to give the travelers a ride in the Happy Carrier Car, but it may not be able to withstand the harsh storms either.

In Italy, Nadja encounters Leonardo with his various girlfriends, as well as Julietta, his fiancee. Nadja learns the sad truth behind their engagement, as well as someone else who's after Julietta - the cunning Antonio Fabiani.

After hearing that Milan is Nadja's next destination, Herman reaffirms his goal of inheriting the Preminger duchy. Nadja sets out to find Victorio Capuletti, another of her mother's acquaintances.

Although she hides her disappointment at not being reunited with her mother, Nadja is furious at Antonio. Then she meets a gondolier in Venice and learns the tragic truth.

Lost in a midnight masked celebration, Nadja runs into Harvey. She learns that many people's appearances are simply masks hiding their true selves. Little does she know that another masked phantom will join the festivities that night.

Nadja meets up with Christian and the two tour the Roman ruins. Their date takes a dramatic turn when a pickpocket steals Nadja's brooch.

While Nadja searches for a birthday present for Granny, Collete tells her nephew Oscar the story of how she met her husband Raymond and lost her daughter.

When Nadja and Kennosuke notice Rita acting strangely, it doesn't take long before they discover the burning truth of her past. She'll have to face the fire again before she regains her voice.

Nadja has little time to make a flamenco costume as the troupe crosses the Mediterranean. Nevertheless, there's more trouble than that as a mysterious, ghostly pirate ship approaches.

Now in Spain, Nadja stumbles into the famous matador José Rodriguez. Besides that, she must perfect her flamenco dancing with help from a teacher, but it is no easy task.

Granny Anna's intercession for Anselma has landed Nadja in the story of a fallen flamenco dancer, Carmén, who loves José and visits Anselma. However, the instructor warns Nadja to avoid Carmén.

Nadja is delighted to reunite with Francis Harcourt when he recovers her stolen brooch. Even so, as the two spend the day together, Nadja notices how different he seems. Then the shocking truth is revealed.

Nadja, struggling with her love with the Harcourt brothers, clashes with Kennosuke. The rest of the troupe come up with a solution to end their feud.

Rosemary races onto the stage after a flamenco performance, and she has become a thorn in Nadja's side. Nadja looks for her in the labyrinthine Gonzales mansion.

As each discover the true motives of the other, José and Carmén struggle with their relationship and purpose in life.

Now on Mikonos, Nadja has come up with a new dance. She finds Francis there and learns about his beautiful childhood friend, his vanished twin brother, and the consequences of his charity donations.

When a boy in a wheelchair and his parents appear while the troupe is performing, Abel loses his concentration. Nadja finds out about his past and sees if there's anything she can do to help.

Now in Egypt, the troupe makes their way through each archaeological site in search of Professor Harrison, or at least Christian. Nadja and Kennosuke find the latter, as well as the origins of Nadja's ring.

Kidnapped by Rosso and Bianco, Nadja makes a deal with her captors to navigate their way out of the pyramid in return for her brooch.

After Nadja falls during her performance, the rest of the troupe members break into conflict until George threatens to disband the group. Fearing it is all her fault, Nadja prepares to go her own way.

Nadja has the whole day free before the troupe leaves for Vienna in the evening. Meanwhile, Colette escapes to explore the city of Rome. In a twist of fate, the two happen to stumble into each other.

Awaiting repairs on the Happy Carrier Car, Nadja learns of the Black Rose's arrival. She encounters Keith who undertakes the mission of retrieving her brooch. However, he is not expecting to find another 'Nadja' at Herman's mansion.

Though tortured and imprisoned, Keith must deliver Nadja's brooch and warn her of Herman's plans. Meanwhile, Harvey works on article on the brooch while Nadja makes her own research.

Nadja's hopes to meet her mother in Vienna is mirrored by Duke Preminger's displeasure at a family matter's exposure against his wishes. Nadja sets out to confront Rosemary,.

Nadja finds herself charged with the theft of her brooch as well as being a fake. Rosemary enjoys time with Colette while Nadja can only watch.

The troupe searches for Oliver to testify as a witness against Rosemary, but he is long gone. Then the police close in, and Nadja fears she's caused enough trouble for the Dandelion Troupe.

While dreaming of her mother and the Harcourt brothers, Nadja travels to England via train, ship, and her own two feet. Paying for the expenses is no easy task, and dangers lurk all around her.

Nadja finally arrives at the Applefield orphanage, only to find it abandoned. After talking with Raphael, Nadja determines what she must do.

After searching for Christian and Edna with no luck, Nadja attends John Whittard's piano recital. During the encore, he plays a song hauntingly familiar to Nadja.

Francis will take Nadja to confront the Duke Preminger; Keith will sweep her away straight to Colette. Nadja finds herself torn between the Harcourt twins. Then Mary-Anne enters the picture.

Mary-Anne announces her engagement to Francis, dismissing Nadja as a mere traveling performer. Francis asserts her relations to the House of Preminger. Meanwhile, Rosemary prepares to defend her own claims.

Francis and Nadja arrive in Vienna to meet her mother; however, Rosemary is prepared to forestall a scandal and is prepared for Nadja's attempts to prove her identity. Then Herman recognizes Francis.

Francis' and Nadja's arrests is a shock to Harvey and Colette. However, thanks to Rosemary's 'mercy', Nadja is released before her mother can visit her. Meanwhile, Mary-Anne and the real Black Rose confront the broken White Rose.

Nadja pursues her former pursuers. Oscar and Collette attempt to persuade Herman to leave with his creditor, Antonio Fabiani, but Herman balks to save face. Meanwhile, the Black Rose leaves Vienna.

Nadja is determined to escape the Black Rose's former dungeon. Now equipped with a trump card to convict Herman, no one can stand between her and her mother save the Duke Preminger himself.

The Duke Preminger refuses to allow Nadja to see her mother, intending to make her a proper heiress, but Nadja and Colette will have no such thing. With her friends by her side, Nadja will reveal to all what she has decided to do.
