The marriage of Arthur Ahnepol is not the best. When he falls in love with a prostitute on his 50th birthday, his life changes abruptly.

After the death of her pimp Arthur wants to start with Jesse in a better life. But his wife knows how to prevent that. And soon there will be a second dead.

Arthur wants a fresh start with Jesse. However, he has to get his wife out of the way.

Muriel slowly loses her nerves. The cold-blooded Martha exchanges roles with her to keep the police at bay. Only Arthur does not know that his sister-in-law lives with him now.

Muriel and Arthur dream of common happiness.
