Tired of enduring Gilberts taunts about her red hair, Anne resolves to do something about it! While her results are initially disastrous, Anne manages to reverse her mistake. She emerges with a more balanced attitude about herself.

Gilbert thinks babysitting his infant cousin will be a breeze. that is until he finds himself alone with the tyke. Anne who has a great deal of experience with children, comes to his assistance.

When a storm drives a stray dog to seek shelter at Green Gables, Anne must take on the responsibility of looking after the dog while she tries to find his owners.

When Mr. Grishams nephew Ben visits Avonlea, all the kids are excited about his arrival- especially when it coincides with sports day! But Ben arrives in crutches as Polio has left him crippled. The children must learn to welcome Ben into their group, and games, as a valuable partner.

The Avonlea kids prepare for their annual hunt for the golden crown, which has very complex rules, which rules should they follow?

When the treat Anne brings to the Avonlea Taffy Day turns out horribly salty, she is certain has something to do with the scheming Felicity. Both girls need to put aside their differences to solve their misunderstanding.

Diana comes down with a case of head-lice and Anne can only feel sympathy. When the other children begin to make fun of Anne for remaining Diana's friend, Anne considers abandoning her friend for her own popularity - Anne must learn a lesson in loyalty.

While Matthew enjoys Marilla's blackberry pies, Anne and Diana search the woods for pirate treasure. But when the girls get lost, they must use their wits and advice from those they meet to find their way home.

Anne thinks she saw Gilbert cheat on a test and her unfounded suspicions harm Gilbert's grades and reputation. Is it too late to see the error of her ways and fix everything?

Ralph, the new boy, is bullying Felix, when Anne tries to stick up for Felix, she becomes a bit of a bully herself! Felix and Anne work together to creatively diffuse Ralph's aggression and try to forge a new friendship.

When Anne offers to help Marilla make ice cream, she has no idea what she is getting into! She soon realizes she is missing out on other activities, and her promise to Marilla becomes more of a commitment than she anticipated.

All of Avonlea is in a tizzy when the world-famous Amelia Evans returns to Avonlea. Preoccupied with her appearance, Anne almost forget about her contribution to the talent show held in Amelia's honour.

The children start up The Avonlea Herald newspaper, and Anne becomes the editor. But when a big story breaks, the staff becomes frustrated with Anne's dictatorship style of running the paper! Anne comes to realize her attitude is hindering the success of the team and begins to allow people the sense of ownership- the news team starts to function smoothly resulting in great success!

Anne plans to throw a party to coincide with the lunar eclipse - until her obsessive planning caused her to neglect her household chores, throwing Green Gables into chaos.

Anne and Diana find a pair of magic swings that answer their questions about the future. When Marilla's efforts to get a public library are put in danger, Anne turns to superstitions to help.

When Anne discovers that Gilbert's birthday is coming up and there is no party planned, she takes it upon herself to plan a surprise party. Anne and Diana learn from Felix to think through Gilbert's eyes to plan the perfect party.

When Miss King emphasizes the importance of Anne's contribution to the region's spelling bee, Anne begins to doubt her abilities and is afraid of letting her team down.

Anne grows increasingly more afraid of Peg Bowen despite Matthew and Marilla ensuring her that Peg is just an ordinary woman though quite eccentric.

When Felix brings marbles to Avonlea from Charlottetown, Anne wants to get some of her own. Matthew gives Anne his bumblebee marble so that Anne can play with her friends, but her competitive nature causes conflict with Felicity.

Anne tells the adventurous tale of the King family reunion to Matthew on the ride home. Anne imagines what it would be like to have a brother.

As the children wait for their novelist hero E.J. Lark to arrive, they are surprised to find that the author is not who they were expecting.

Avonlea finds itself over run with mice. In an effort to solve the proplome their school teacher tries to get them to build a better mouse trap. Anne and Diane wrestle with how to build a humane and effective mouse trap.

Anne and Diana are inspired to build a clubhouse after researching Gothic architecture. Rather than causing their friends to be jealous of their club, their exclusivity spawns a rival club which has more fun because they are inclusive.

Anne quickly goes through her allowance and believe the simplest solution is more allowance.
