Anna undergoes training to become a negotiator and gets to use her skills quite immediately. Mikala has problems with her son Tobias. A new police officer starts at the station and Martin asks Anna an important personal question.

Anna and Kim drive home an over-refreshed football supporter who turns out to belong to a well-known group of troublemakers. When Anna later encounters the same supporter, a confrontation arises that has big consequences.

In prison, Mads has an unpleasant experience that will affect both him and Anna. A young prisoner, Dan, escapes onto the roof of the prison building to attempt suicide and Anna is called to the scene as a negotiator.

A drug deal has dire consequences for a teenage girl who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Mikala's constant concern for Tobias exceeds her ability to work, and at Bellahøj the colleagues hold a farewell reception for Martin.

The police have not yet managed to arrest the man who killed Natasha. Therfore is it a lynch mob in the town and Natasha's father is desperate. So can Anna and her colleagues prevent another young person from losing their life.

14-year-old Alexander is kidnapped and his parents don't want to cooperate with the police. And when the father insists on delivering the ransom all by himself. Well everything takes an unexpected turn.

The hunt for Alexander and his kidnapper continues in Sweden, where the Swedish police have taken over the case. Anna joins as a Danish negotiator and reunites with Daniel, who helped train her. Jan and Therese receive an unexpected visit.

Anna, Kim and Karim find a large amount of heroin during a raid, but are soon suspected of theft. Anna receives an invitation that she finds difficult to refuse.

Mikala decides to track down the pimp who sold dangerous tablets to Tobias herself, but the hunt soon takes an unexpected turn. Anna's relationship with Daniel enters a new phase and Henning's new love is not to Anna's or Mads' liking.

Mikala's hunt for both Tobias and the drug dealers continues. And she picks up a trail that leads her to the laboratory where the tablets are made. Mean while have Anna gathered the whole family to celebrate Christmas,
