Anne struggles to get the authorities to help her son; Terri has an intervention with Kevin; the truth is revealed about Eric.

Kevin is identified as a participant in the events that occurred at the party; Anne feels defensive; new evidence raises questions about what really happened.

A revelation leads to the members of the basketball team facing invasive DNA testing; Eric makes a painful confession; Taylor tries to return to normalcy.

Taylor has to defend his actions to the police; Anne struggles with a discovery about her son; a seemingly innocuous incident starts to take on racial overtones.

Leslie disregards the school lawyer's advice and welcomes Eric back to Leyland; Anne wants to take the school to court over what happened with her son; an incident at Marshall High School incites a student protest.

Feeling pain and conflict, Taylor continues to become emotionally undone as he tries to find a way to stop feeling like a victim; Anne's private medical records are anonymously posted online in an effort to shame her; and Leslie offers a generous settlement to Evy's father to protect the school from litigation.

Leyland High School mourns the loss of one of their own, while Leslie finds her job on the line in the aftermath of the tragedy. Curt tries to file a missing person's report with the police when he suspects his estranged wife has run off with their son. Becca makes a startling confession to Dan; and Sebastian reaches out to Anne in an attempt to help her bring retribution to those who caused her son Taylor's downfall.

Following the on-campus murder of a Leyland student, the community re-examines the choices they have made in the wake of the sexual encounter between Eric and Taylor; leaked personal information implicates both Kevin and Becca to the shooting; and Sebastian targets the Leyland school by releasing its most sensitive information online, causing Leslie to take drastic measures.
