Giles Coren and Monica Galetti fly to the island of Tetiaroa in French Polynesia to work in one of the world's most luxurious eco-resorts. The Brando was the brainchild of Hollywood star Marlon Brando.

Giles and Monica learn about some of the challenges of building the highest 5-star hotel in the Middle East. Monica meets one of the few female Omani members of staff and Giles plays cricket.

Monica and Giles travel to the foothills of the Swiss Alps to visit this luxury spa hotel that also offers guests sleep therapy, Olympic-standard sports facilities and even surgery.

Giles and Monica hop over to the Republic of Ireland to learn about the troubled history of this 800-year-old castle turned luxury hotel, its ties with the local community and activities laid on for guests.

Giles and Monica travel to South Africa to experience The Silo, an industrial-chic, luxury, art-themed hotel sitting in the former elevator shaft of a 90-year-old, 187-foot grain silo in the heart of Cape Town.

Monica and Giles work in Hacienda Hotel Vira Vira, which overlooks an active volcano.

In this Christmas Special, Giles and Monica visit Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz. The Swiss Alpine resort was the birthplace of winter tourism more than 150 years ago.
