Allie & Lara Make a Horror Movie

Allie and Lara pitch their film to a local production company. When shit hits the fan, they move on to plan B, something Allie didn't even know they had.

Allie and Lara launch their crowdfunding campaign for their feminist creature feature Womantis, impatiently waiting for funds to roll in but are sorely disappointed with the outcome.

Allie, Lara, and Becca attend an industry party in the hopes of making contacts. Lara has a run-in with her ex-writing partner and mortal enemy, Lacy Spiderbae, who's developing a similar project.

Allie takes matters into her own hands to pitch Womantis, sans Lara, to an amateur producer. Granted funding for their film, they wonder if they made a deal with Mr. Theo DeVille or The Devil himself?

Lara's views on Allie's past work history have a negative effect on their casting session. Meanwhile, Becca goes above their heads, and beyond the point of no return, to nab what she considers to be the role of a lifetime: Womantis.

After discovering that the ending of "Womantis" is identical to Lacy's ending in "Annaconda," Allie and Lara power through a twenty-four hour rewrite, while attempting to oversee other departments.

As filming commences, Lara tasks Eugene the volunteer production assistant with shooting a behind-the-scenes featurette of Womantis.

Allie and Lara's conflicting direction pushes Armando, Hollywood North's Top Cinematographer, to the edge. His artistic vision is being wasted, and he's about to lose it.

DeVille secretly attempts to take Womantis in a new direction, filming a different ending and putting Becca through the ringer.

Armando returns just in time for Allie's big directing sequence, but when Lara tries to take over, he and the rest of the cast and crew are forced to take sides.

After a frustrated crew member spikes the 'vegan' clam chowder with LSD, Allie and Lara hallucinate their way through the last day of filming.

With Allie, Lara, and Becca at odds, the fate of Womantis seems dire. During a powerful lunar eclipse, the three women sync periods and the veil of reality shatters.
