With Spencer torn about where to play football, he is taken aback to learn who Corey has added to the team; Coop finds her voice again through music.

Spencer gives his dad an ultimatum about his new player; Coop enters a freestyle battle; Olivia reluctantly joins the Sola Muse group; Layla continues to not act like herself.

Spencer tries to talk to Layla about her behaviour; Billy, Corey and Grace's high school reunion brings up unfinished business; Asher turns to Olivia for support when someone from his past wants to see him.

Layla pretends everything is fine and throws a birthday party for Olivia and Jordan; Spencer is forced to have dinner with Cliff Mosley.

An exhibition 7-on-7 rematch of the Beverly Eagles vs. South Crenshaw creates tension between players; Olivia and Asher try to find out what the future holds for them; Coop turns to Layla to help with her song.

Spencer, Grace, Dillon and Darnell set out to find Corey; Billy arranges for his family to meet with a family therapist to help them take the next step.

With everything going on, Spencer gets some guidance from Layla; Jordan gets unexpected news; Asher gets some clarity from his parents on what happened in the last year.

Spencer tries to spend time with Dillon by helping to sell tickets together for Coop's show, but find themselves confronted by police instead; Layla bonds with a new friend.

With Tyrone back on the streets, Spencer becomes overly protective of Coop; Coop and Patience try to get back into a rhythm, until Coop's jealous streak comes out.

With Spencer in bad shape, both the Crenshaw and Beverly Hills community rally around him to show support; Spencer asks Coop to do him a favor, but things go from bad to worse.

Determined to secure their football future, Spencer, Darnell and Jordan go on a college football visit; Billy and Grace worry that Spencer is pushing himself too hard, while Olivia worries the same for Asher.

Spencer is ready to get back to football in order to impress recruiters; Layla is excited about her and Coop's music, but Coop is distracted about what is going on in the streets.

Spencer is worried Coop isn't taking everything seriously and asks Layla for her help; Billy makes a tough choice to protect his team; Laura is concerned about Jordan's relationship with Simone.

Spencer goes around Billy to get what he wants; Olivia and Asher are both guilt-ridden when it comes to Billy; Coop receives an unexpected offer; Jordan tries to make things easier for Simone.

When Spencer hears that South Crenshaw may turn into a magnet school, he and his friends decide to do something about it; Billy makes a decision that surprises everyone.
