Albert & Herbert

Albert has fallen in love with the widow Märta Svensson, who has introduced him into a spiritualistic circle. Through the medium Madame Singoalla the deceased spouses of Märta and Albert permit them to marry once more. Herbert is invited to a séance with the medium, but he thinks that Madame Singoalla is a fraud.

Albert is teaching Herbert to dance so that Herbert can dance with his girlfriend.

Herbert tries to convince Albert to undergo an X-ray examination of his chest, but Albert refuses. When Herbert says that he will undergo the examination himself, Albert cannot shirk any longer. It turns out that Albert is healthy, but Herbert is informed that because of some technical problems there are no results from his examination. Herbert is sure that the clinic is just saying this, because they don't dare to tell him that he is actually dying.

Herbert has saved money to buy a car, but Albert finds it more necessary for them to buy a colour TV set. Albert tries all kind of arguments and a sly trick to bring Herbert to sell the car and buy the TV.

Herbert have bought three chests at auction to resell. This gives Albert death anxiety.

Herbert has purchased some gramophone records with classical music to build his collection. But soon there will be a quarrel between Albert and Herbert about the music. Albert throws away a bunch of keys.
