Jane returns from holiday to big surprises and problems - Andy has been replaced at the radio station by a cynic, Rob and Michael want her out of their flat, and Laurence has attempted to meet someone via a dating service.

Having been advised by her horoscope for the week that there's a money making scheme connected with the colour blue awaiting her, Val decides to make a blue movie.

Jane is furious when she invites Michael to talk anonymously about being gay on her radio show and Truscombe reveals his real name on air.

Jane pursues a career on TV and lands a job as the presenter of a talk show.

Rob and Michael turn to Jane for advice on how to break the news to Rob's parents that he's gay while she gets a shock from Truscombe when he tells her he's in love - with her mother.

Andy returns but he's not the same person anymore. He's now a devout christian and he's changed his name to Andrew Love.

Jane's worried she may be pregnant and even more worried about who the father could be - Laurence or Vincent? Then when things couldn't get any more stressful, the man who's been sending her threatening letters shows up at the office.
