South African football agent and former professional football player, Blaze, has 18-hours before the transfer window shuts on the last day of January, to keep the clients he represents before a ruthless rival agent poaches them all.

To please the whims of his most high profile client, Lesego, Blaze is forced into keeping Lesego's high-maintenance Ivory Coast girlfriend company while Lesego's out cheating on her with groupies .

As the clock ticks ominously toward the midnight deadline, Blaze has to outfox Jean-Pierre twice in the space of a few hours, to save a client and a potential new client from moving over to him.

On the same Friday night Blaze has his first date with Natalie, his most high profile client, Lesego, is seducing his most promising client, Herve, into going out on a drunken bender the night before his debut.

Blaze is left furious when Lesego goes behind his back and books Herve for a football calendar shoot in Mauritius without his say so.

Blaze is able to corner Zoe, but she is still licking her wounds from his rejection of her earlier offer to work together.

The sultry, tropical island of Mauritius casts a dangerous spell over Blaze, Natalie, Lesego, Herve and Nina during the day of the shoot and the closing night party.

Natalie is avoiding Blaze since his antics in Mauritius and is only interested in talking to him if he is willing to divulge the dark secret between him and Lesego.

While on a business trip in Cape Town, Blaze runs into an old flame, who is now a Hollywood actress, and the spark between them is electric.

Hitting rock bottom, Blaze is ready to tell Natalie the story of how a night with Lesego six years ago changed his life, if there's a chance to win her back.

Lesego comes out of rehab preaching to be a changed man since his near death experience. When he vows to help Blaze fix things with Natalie, Blaze wonders if his motives are pure.

We learn the real reason why Jean-Pierre is so vindictive toward Blaze, while Lesego asks Nina for forgiveness for all the bad things he did to her when he was an addict.

Playing out over one day and building to the last game of the season, Blaze and Lesego take a walk down memory lane as they spend time with loved ones before their fates are surely sealed at the end of the game with their confessions.
