James makes his decision about Carl.

Carl tries to convince the No.1 baseball recruit in the state to announce on his show what college he's going to attend. Meanwhile, James looks for a new online video editor.

After Liam's decision, Carl tries to talk him out of his decision. James hires a new reporter, prompting Zach and Kevin to pull the ritual newbie office prank on her.

Zach's last day at the paper.

James goes on a recruitment trip to convince a Pulitzer-prize winning journalist to come work for him. Meanwhile, Carl and the others obsess with what is in a mysterious box at the paper.

James and Carl go on a stakeout.

After witnessing a murder in the office parking lot, James puts the paper into lock-down mode.

James and Carl shoot a commercial for a restaurant that bought advertising for Carl's show.

After the owner of The Montgomery Watchdog says he is going to sell the paper, Jordan Michaels comes to James, begging him to buy the paper so it won't go under.

After having enough with James, Carl and Rebecca go on strike.
