Two unlikely companions--a tender cow, and an optimistic tabby tomcat--summon up the courage to flee from their once-peaceful farm, in search of the mythical Animal Island. Just how far will they have to go to finally be happy and free?

After swimming for many hours, the cow and the cat stumble upon two antagonistic pandas on a dry island. Can our two adventurers teach them a thing or two about peaceful coexistence, and above all, how to find water in the wilderness?

In need of some rest, the fearless swimmer, the Cow, makes a stop at a quiet green island, where a reclusive and grouchy black spider spins her web. The Cat is very afraid of her; however, will he learn not to judge a book by its cover?

A tempest forces the Cow and the Cat to seek refuge at the nearest island; however, they get separated from each other, as a swift shark patrols the waters, ready to take action. How will the friends reunite, when swimming is not allowed?

Enjoying a nap under a shady tree, the lazy Cat refuses to follow the Cow. Suddenly, a couple of cunning merchant-hyaenas pay them a visit, and the Cat wants to have all their merchandise. But, does one need much to be happy?

The Cow and the Cat follow an irritable and very hungry polar bear, unbeknownst to them that they should be tracking the popular constellation, Ursa Major, or the Great Bear. Will the visitors become the famished bear's next meal?

The Cat and the Cow find shelter at a tall lighthouse--the home of a kind lighthouse keeper who is fond of bees. But, when the light is turned off, only a clever mind and true ingenuity can give the solution. Will they turn it on in time?

After following the Cat's advice to take a shortcut through the desert, the two companions get stranded. Two kind natives help them get past a mirage and reunite in a beautiful oasis. However, will the Cow and the Cat ever find the ocean?

As always, the Cow is very tired from the endless hours of swimming, and when she and the Cat stumble upon a flat piece of wood, a new surfing star is born. Now, a pair of twin brothers want to make her famous; but, what is their motive?

After swimming for hours in the cold waters north of the Arctic Circle, the Cow and the Cat arrive at a strange island bathed in the midnight sun, as a cranky polar bear explains. Is she willing to share the only shady place on the islet?

From a distance, the Cow and the Cat notice a leaky oil platform in the middle of the ocean which covers them and a little seagull with sticky black goo. Should the poor animals give the only oil rig operator a taste of his own medicine?

In the middle of the night, the Cow and the Cat arrive at small island covered with fresh grass and encounter a shaggy and timid ram who is head over heels in love with a beautiful ewe. Can they teach him a thing or two about love?

All of a sudden, the Cow and the Cat have an unexpected encounter with a speckled egg floating in the ocean. Could it belong to a beautiful stork-mother? If not, why is that stealthy red snake watching their every move?

Surprised, the Cow and the Cat meet a self-centred donkey who poses as a magnificent unicorn, while at the same time, a sad narwhal whale searches for her lost possession. Can the friends retrieve it, and teach the thief a lesson?

As the Cow and the Cat rest at a lush tropical islet, Leon, the Chameleon, shows them his fascinating ability to change colour at will. Meanwhile, a tourist who is bent on capturing rare species is after them. Can they outsmart him?

At a loss, the Cow and the Cat meet an amnesiac platypus who can't remember who or what she is. Now, they must figure out a way to make things right again, before Mr Platypus returns from fishing. Can they help the thing without a name?

With the Cat having a terrible toothache from a fish bone, the sea-travellers chance upon a plump and friendly hippopotamus who happens to know the best dental hygienist in the jungle: a tiny but highly trained bird. Will the pain stop?

As swimming can be very exhausting, the famished Cow spots an isle with fresh rice fields, and before long, the feast begins. The owner is a weary farmer, and now, her harvest is destroyed. Can the Cow and the Cat make things right again?

While swimming in crystal-clear waters, the Cat has a feeling that something is following them. Suddenly, a fast creature with an all-too-familiar fin sticking out of the water is rapidly approaching. Could that be a fearsome shark?

Friendship comes in all sizes. When the Cow and the Cat arrive at a lush isle, they see two crocodiles trying to catch a poor antelope. One of them is her friend; the other is just hungry. Can they protect her from the beast's sharp teeth?

On Christmas Eve, the Cow and the Cat arrive just in time at a snow-capped island to help Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer. They must take extra care not to mess up; however, pretty soon, there's the first mix-up. Can they save Christmas?

Nobody likes pranksters, so, imagine how the Cow and the Cat must have felt when they met a pair of beavers and mischievous practical jokers whose river has run dry. Can our brave explorers help them find the cause of the problem?

Two polar opposites inhabit the next island, which the Cow and the Cat visit in the dead of night. When Mrs Owl goes to sleep, Mrs Woodpecker gets to work, and vice versa. Can the Cow and the Cat find a solution to this intricate problem?

An unusually misty island is the Cow and the Cat's next stop: the home of an equally strange and misunderstood pitch-black tomcat. Pretty soon, they will find out firsthand his power. Can they escape from the Island of the Cursed Cat?

With the help of a rickety raft, the Cow and the Cat arrive at a sandy island, only to find themselves trapped in quicksand. A pink flamingo has warned them that it is not safe for animals lacking the proper equipment. Can she save them?

After escaping captivity, a happy orca whale has a chance encounter with the Cow and the Cat, and a pod of orcas who are on their way to a secret cove. Will the young calf believe in herself to accept her as one of their own?

Amid the foggy ocean, the Cow and the Cat stumble upon a whale who has lost her calf because of a dangerous fleet of whaling ships. As they distract them, the Cow tries to locate the baby boy. Will the mother and son escape from danger?

Out of the blue, the Cow and the Cat stumble upon the adventurous but sad dog-pilot, Laika, and her shiny space-rocket escape pod. By the first light of dawn, she has an appointment with the love of her life. Can they be of any assistance?

For the first time in this long adventure, the Cow and the Cat come face-to-face with a wild tiger who wants to teach his little relative how to get in touch with his carnivorous roots. Will the Cat transform into a real savage predator?

By an honest mistake on Christmas Eve, the Cow and the Cat find themselves stranded on a sweltering desert. As a kind dromedary takes them to a shady oasis, he confesses that he dreams of flying with Santa's sleigh. Do dreams come true?

After all this time in the wide ocean, the Cow and the Cat find proof about the existence of the mysterious Animal Island inside a bottle; however, it is nothing more than a wasteland with one iguana. Can they help him find his companion?

While swimming, the Cow and the Cat find themselves trapped in a maze-like island. To find the way out, they must rely on their experience and the words of advice from their many friends. Will they find it in time to continue the search?

At last, the Cow and the Cat's long quest is over. An immaculate isle where peace and love prevails becomes the promised land for all the creatures they have met, and no one can take it away from them; not even all the evil of the world.
