Carlos Dittborn and Juan Pinto Durán dedicate day and night to Chile hosting the 1962 World Cup. With a powerful speech, Dittborn will convince the 1956 FIFA Congress in Lisbon. While in Chile, the indiscipline of the players shows them that they will have to take action and look for a coach to reverse this situation, if they want to get anywhere. The game is about to begin.

Those selected are not used to the intense physical conditioning established by coach Riera. Internal quarrels begin. On the other hand, Juanita wants to start a business with her friend, but Carlos is opposed and faces several problems: The discussion with his wife, the demands of FIFA, Fernando's requirements and the budget cut by of the government. The World Cup in Chile is in danger.

The squad is concentrated in a house in the Valparaíso Region when there are only a few months left before the World Cup begins. Everything seems to be going smoothly, but Carlos Dittborn faces new problems that will put him to the test. The grass does not grow in the Arica stadium and Carlos will have to use all his ingenuity to change this discouraging scenario.
