The new sheriff is cleaning house and the inmates must help in their efforts, but participants are being forced to quit the program. Can they handle the pressure?

Five participants go into the jail. But one will be checking out. Many came in not knowing what the jail was going to be like. It's a lot different when the cameras aren't rolling.

With Mack and Jacob gone, the show must go. Ashley files a grievance, and Shanese is having issues with her diet. The staff doesn't care, and tensions are mounting. Alex and Jennifer are the last two to check in to the jail.

Dennis is drawing the wrong kind of attention. He moves himself to pod 6, and has to come back. The females are onto Ashley, and the fear is growing.

Tony, a secret participant, comes to the rescue of the program. Ofc. Williams returns and locks down the pod. Ashley gets divorced while in jail. Alex is scared of getting robbed on store day.

Ashley becomes a trustee, Alex grows more uncomfortable in his surroundings, suspicions are rising and so are the tensions.

Shenese becomes a drama queen,. Alex can't fit in and Ashley and Jennifer are drawing the wrong kind of attention.

Shanese checks out. Tony and Dennis get their hands on shanks. Somebody's cover about to get blown.

Ashley wants out due to cover being blown, Dennis on the prowl looking for drugs and Tony robs another inmate over a debt that was owed.

Tony and Dennis try to get their hands on drugs, while Jennifer strives to save a troubled inmate. But will they have enough information for Sheriff Horton to fix his broken facility'.

Tony, along with 4 new participants, plan to hit the speedway for 30 days. This is not for the faint of heart. Tony's back and he's playing hardball.

Mark is taken down by his health. Tony hires a guy to do his work, and gets locked up for it. One cover comes into question. Tensions are rising and it doesn't look good.

Mark checks out of the program, 2 girls get into a fight, mail is sent from across the pods, and everyone is testing the system.

Champagne James beats up an inmate with no repercussions, Tony becomes tank boss and Angel makes threats against someone on the streets.

Tony is going to push the CO's and it's gonna cost him, one guard get fired and it's almost over.

A surprise shakedown fails. Tony gets scared while in seg. Sheriff decides to pull the plug. Phase 2 participants give sheriff feedback.

The Phase One participants reunite to relive their experiences in Etowah County Detention Center.
