When Tom and Jessie bump into her ex outside a coffee shop, Tom's insecurity mounts.

When Wendy makes a documentary on marriage for a school assignment, she asks Jessie and Tom to participate -- as an example of a couple that likely won't survive.

When Tom and Jessie are faced with mounting car repairs, they decide to get part-time jobs for reading week.

When Tara overhears Phil tell Ben marriage is "like a coffin", she dares him to propose. Knowing that she'll say no, Phil does exactly that -- only to be surprised with a "yes".

Tom is assigned to recreate a family dish in culinary school, and decides to take on his mother's potato latke.

"It all started with that goddamned painting." At least that what Ben tells the investigating officer when asked how the two families ended up at the police station.

When Jessie is struck with a bout of insomnia, Tom learns that in marriage, one partner's problem becomes the others.

When Tom accidentally leaves the toilet seat up and Jessie falls in, the newlyweds are faced with an age old problem -- if men and women are wired differently, is it possible to keep the peace?

When a discarded home pregnancy test (positive) is found in the recycling, a frenzy of speculation ignites: Tom thinks it's Jessie's, Jessie thinks it's Monica's, Ben thinks its Judith's, Phil thinks it's Tara's.

When the Bellows learn of the Hills' plans to take Tom and Jessie camping, they elect to come along ... bringing their fully loaded RV in tow.

It's tax time, and Tom's turn to help his father work his patented "colour coded tax management system." Horrified at the thought of working with his dad, Tom flips Carter fifty bucks to act as a buffer.

Tom's grandmother drops in for a visit, forcing Jessie out of the upstairs loft. Seems the Bellows have neglected to tell her Tom and Jessie are married, due to fear of her wrath.

It's been almost a year since Tom and Jessie got hitched, and their First Anniversary looms.
