Michael Davies Jr. was born on May 24, 1973 in Canada. Michael Davies Jr.'s big-screen debut came with After Judgment - Season 1 directed by Michael Davies Jr. in 2008.

Michael Davies graduated from the Vancouver Film School with the short drama Convenience under his belt, and since that time Davies has proven himself to be a relentless, multi-genre filmmaker. In 1998, he formed the production company Captain Films Inc. and directed the acclaimed sci-fi/thriller Message: Received, which subsequently signed with Ouat! Media for worldwide distribution. His feature film debut, a dramatic contribution, The Absent Phallus, premiered in 2001, winning several awards including, Best Directorial Debut, Best Director, Best Actress and signed with Canamedia Productions Ltd. for Worldwide distribution. Continuing to explore other genres, Davies fashioned the definitive hangover comedy for his second feature Hair of the Dog (2002). After a successful festival run the film has found a home with Critical Mass Releasing. Michael's third feature film, a comedy/drama, Three on a See-Saw (2002), signed with Attack Filmworks and Universal Home Video. Davies has directed a number of shorts, most notably the multiple award winning When Urine Love. After a successful festival tour When Urine Love was sold to The Comedy Network. In the summer of 2007 When Urine Love signed with Ouat! Media for worldwide distribution and can now be seen on Movieola. Two additional, and notable short films, the sci-fi/thriller Ashes, and the action/comedy, T.A.G. have both found homes with OUAT Media as well. In April 2007 Davies embarked upon a bold departure from traditional media and entered the world of New Media creating the character-driven, post apocalyptic, sci-fi web series After Judgment. The show follows a group of strangers who unwittingly find themselves banding together 100 years after the end of the world. The first season (sixteen episodes) launched late 2008 with an enthusiastic release, including 6 Nominations (including Best Drama web series and Best Director) at the 1st Annual Streamy Awards and spawned the companion series Before Judgment, which delves into the lives of the characters before "the day." Davies sophomoric web outing is called Hurtling Trough Space at an Alarming Rate! The series was produced by and debuted on the web comedy network Babelgum. It was released November 2009 with emphatic audience response! This sci-fi/comedy follows the adventures and shenanigans of two hapless roommates as their apartment is literally hurtling through space (at an alarming rate). Davies latest web series, a character-driven action/adventure series entitled Hot Chicks Who Kill People, began filming August 2010. This comic book-style series revolves around a group of heroes for hire, an elite team of femme fatal assassins - think Buffy meets Batman - and that's Hot Chicks Who Kill People.
