Luiza Mariani is a Brazilian Actress and Producer. She began her career in theater in 1995 at 15 years old and was chosen by Domingos Oliveira to join the cast of the play "Confissões de Adolescente".She attended the Globo TV actors workshop. In New York she studied theater and film at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and at the New York Film Academy.She returned to Brazil in 2001 and made her first appearance in film in "As Três Marias" by Aluizio Abranches. She began her career as a producer also in 2001 with the play "Polaróides Explícitas" by Mark Ravenhill. She produced and starred in "O Perfeito Cozinheiro das Almas desse Mundo" by Oswald de Andrade, for which she received great critical acclaim. Other highlights in her career include her role in the film "Nina", directed by Heitor Dhalia,"O Sarcófago Macabro" by Ivan Cardoso, and "Se Nada Mais Der Certo" by José Eduardo Belmonte. She worked on the soap opera "Cobras e Lagartos" and the show "A Cura", both by Joao Emanuel Carneiro.It is in the long unheard footage even "O Grande Circo Místico" by Carlos Diegues in the role of Lily Braun. In 2015 is airing on GNT praised the television series, "Questão de Família", directed by Sergio Rezende.
