Britt Lomond

Britt Lomond was born on Apr 12, 1925 in USA. Britt Lomond's big-screen debut came with Prince of Pirates directed by Sidney Salkow in 1953, strarring Brenner (as Glase Lohman). Britt Lomond is known for Midnight Run directed by Martin Brest, Robert De Niro stars as Jack Walsh and Charles Grodin as Jonathan Mardukas. The upcoming new movie Britt Lomond plays is Seven Hours to Judgment which will be released on Sep 16, 1988.

Britt Lomond is best remembered as the sinister yet dashing Captain Monastario, the arch nemesis of Guy Williams' Zorro in the first thirteen shows of the 50s television show. The Commandante of the Pueblo de Los Angeles, Captain Monastario was always confounded by Zorro, and his machinations were constantly foiled. A champion and expert fencer once ranked 26th in the nation amongst amateurs, Lomond, a graduate of New York University, served as a paratrooper in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. After his film career, Lomond went behind the camera, working as a director, producer, and production manager on a number of films, including Quelque part dans le temps (1980).
