Anwen O'Driscoll was born and raised in Lindsay, Ontario. Anwen and her two younger siblings, also professional actors, lived on a horse farm and their family home was infamously known to locals as a haunted house. Anwen's grandfather, Robert O'Driscoll, was the founding professor of Celtic Studies at the University of Toronto. His academic peers were renowned media theorist and philosopher, Marshall McLuhan and accomplished American literature professor, Joseph Campbell.Anwen's acting career began at the Lindsay Little Theatre, where she was cast in a variety of stage productions. She has also been a member of the Young Ruffians of Shakespeare company In The Ruff in Toronto, and performed in roles such as Nooria in the stage read of The Breadwinner at Stratford's Indie Spring Works.She has also performed alongside her best friend, Star Slade, in Shaftesbury's Emerald Code. Anwen has appeared as Taylor Matheson in three seasons of Burden of Truth for CBC and The CW. She most recently wrapped production on October Faction for Netflix.
