Maude is 13 years old. She holds the brown belt in Karate and has recently moved up to train with the adults. She has decided she wants to advance to the black belt as the youngest female in her club.

Maude has been training karate since she was seven years old and she's always dreamt of having the black belt. Her family supports her, and her friends are cheering her on. But does she have what it takes to reach her big goal?

Maude has fallen behind with practice and she is fighting to get back into shape. She increases her training and is giving it all she's got. But the intensive training ends up with an injury to her foot which worries both Maude and her coach.

The upcoming black belts go away for a weekend trip. They need to prepare both mentally and physically for the upcoming graduation. Now it's getting serious. Do they each have what it takes?

It's Maude's birthday and she skips practice to go to Tivoli with her friends instead. When she returns to practice, she forgot her positions - and her coach is far from pleased.

The karate club has invited the big karate legend, Leif, into the club. He is there to judge whether or not Maude is ready for the graduation. Is she good enough to make it to the right side of Leif's golden line?

Maude is practically training all days of the week, in order to become ready for the black belt. The nervousness is only growing when the coach announces that he signed them up for graduation. There's no running away from it now.

Maude is at graduation in Odense. A panel of Denmark's leading karate champions will be judging her performance. Has she become good enough to receive the black belt and achieve her big dream?
