Yassine was born in London. His father and mother are both Moroccan. He spent his youth growing up in Streatham and Casablanca, Morocco along with his brother and sister. At the age of 14 he moved back to Croydon where he attended high school and college. He trained as an actor at the Identity School and various London academies.
