Actress, journalist and passionate yoga instructor, Yasmin is interested in anything that requires artistic skills.Her acting career starts seriously in 2001 when she played Natasha, an alien who kills a young man and takes over his life (A Velchrochild Productions).While living in Australia in 2003, Yasmin studied acting with television director Richard Sarrell, had roles in different short films and two television series.Yasmin played Marilyn, a battery women who longs to be in Hollywood, in "Freedom 2b", directed by Bruce Dwyer.Yasmin portrayed in a film she directed & produced, "Appellation", a contemporary story of biblical Eve set in an Australian nightclub.Apart from her film career, she hosted "Melbourne Attractions", a television show about cool places to visit around town and studied with she studies with Cirque de Soleil's Laure Fugere (www.cirquedusoleil.com).She models for yoga clothing line Lululemon Athletica, and has recently released "Core Strength Power Yoga" (http://www.practicebliss.com/health/), a guided practice on CD.She got her big acting break in grade three when she won the role of Ursula, the wicked sea witch in her elementary school play, the "Little Mermaid". She was the only girl who didn't want to be Ariel.
