Wolfgang Liebeneiner was a German-Austrian film director, stage and film actor. He was born as Wolfgang Georg Louis Liebeneiner in Liebau, Lower Silesia, Kingdom of Prussia, German Empire (now Lubawka, Poland). His father was in the textile business. Wolfgang was sent to the cadet schools in Wahlstatt (now Legnickie Pole) and Berlin-Lichterfelde, and went for further schooling to Berlin-Zehlendorf. After graduating, he studied philosophy, German studies and international history in Innsbruck (Austria), Berlin and Munich. He became a professor of the Economy Spielschar.
