William Lord Wright

William Lord Wright was born on Nov 14, 1879 in USA. William Lord Wright's big-screen debut came with Plunging Hoofs directed by Henry MacRae in 1929.

In 1917, Wright went from the newspaper field into writing silent films for the Selig Company. He later joined Pathe and for a while headed Universal Studios scenario department. Wright also authored "Photoplay Writing" which was used as a supplementary text in New York Institute of Photography. Wright suffered from poor health a number of years before passing away.
