William A. Lee

William A. Lee was born on Mar 12, 1890 in USA. William A. Lee's big-screen debut came with Almost Married directed by Charles Lamont in 1942, strarring Hurley (as Will Lee). William A. Lee is known for Edge of the City directed by Martin Ritt, John Cassavetes stars as Axel Nordmann and Sidney Poitier as Tommy Tyler. The upcoming new movie William A. Lee plays is Edge of the City which will be released on Jan 04, 1957.

During the 1940's and 50's, prior to his death, William was an active member of the American Cryptogram Association using the pseudonym "Tonto". He served as President and one of the Vice Presidents for several years, writing articles on solving a variety of cipher types as well as submitting cipher puzzles for the other ACA members to solve.
