Wayne Mark Rooney was born in Croxteth, Merseyside on the 24th October 1985 and is a professional footballer, most famous for playing for Manchester United, Everton and England.He was raised an Everton fan and was scouted by his boyhood club as a child and joined their youth team, rising through the ranks at the club before making his senior team debut at 16 years old in August 2002 against Tottenham Hotspur. Rooney shot to fame after scoring against Arsenal at Goodison Park, scoring a superb winner to beat the-then unbeaten record of Arsenal's - standing at 30-matches.
