Vernon Mitchell was born December 21, 1987 in Houston, Texas to Esther Jacobs & Vernon Mitchell, Sr. along with two sisters on his mother's side. His parents split up when Vernon was only two and he lived in Nashville, Tennessee where his grandmother and aunt raised him from the age of 2 to 18. He started his career performing in musical plays such as "The Sound of Music" at the age of 12 and "Dark of the Moon." Since then, Vernon has appeared in numerous student films and in Tyler Perry's hit television sitcom "Meet The Browns" movie & television series playing a nurse and musical play's such as "Footloose" & "Big River." Vernon is a continuing working actor.
