Trish Rainone was born on Nov 12, 1984 in Canada. Trish Rainone's big-screen debut came with Foxfire: Confessions of a Girl Gang directed by Laurent Cantet in 2012. Trish Rainone (Calabrese: Ray-no-neh) began a film/tv career in 2012 by moving to Toronto and enrolling in improv classes. Trish gained a career as a film producer, actor, director, production manager and writer, moving her core business back to her hometown. She is one of the producers of A Christmas Letter (CBC Gem, Roku & NBC Universal, Spain.) On-screen, she plays "Top Dog" (Nikki Picano) in the comedy series, Pink Is In & in the Christmas special, A Pink & Green Christmas. In the fall of 2022, Trish was an opening act for the famous comedy duo Cat + Nat, at the Sudbury Northern Heart and Home In Full Bloom event in Sudbury Ontario. She spoke about her comedy career progression over the years. Growing up in Northern Ontario, she was told there was no such thing as working in film and to choose a solid profession. She struggled with her grades early on in high-school but finally got them up and attended University. She gained a Psychology degree & later a diploma in Autism & the behavioural sciences. In her late twenties after trying various career paths, she took a chance and moved to Toronto, knowing less people in that city than she could count on one hand. She moved into a temporary rental spot off Spadina Ave with eight housemates and a cat named Ryan. Trish then worked in various departments in film and jumped around from apartment to apartment & bar job to bar job, enrolling in acting classes. She took time off work for theatre productions she starred in around the GTA to build a solid performer foundation. Trish co-created the BEST COMEDY award-winning series My Roommate's an Escort and played roommate Heather in the shows two seasons. Trish has earned over 50 film and television credits as an actor in various movies and tv shows (seen on Paramount, Netflix, Amazon Prime, SYFY & CBC). Trish is currently taking sketch comedy writing and performance classes with The Groundlings and The Sketch School out of Los Angeles. Trish is known to impersonate Bart Simpson & Britney Spears if you catch her at a party.
