Trevor Doyle Nelson is an actor and filmmaker from Austin, TX. Trevor's first role was alongside Willie Nelson and Barry Corbin in The Journeyman, which won Audience Choice Award at the 2001 SXSW Film Festival. Early on Trevor also developed an interest in the technical side of filmmaking and worked on the film crew of productions shooting in Texas. As a teenager Trevor produced music videos, multi-camera live music taping and other music-oriented content. In his early twenties Trevor relocated to Los Angeles to attend film school and further pursue acting and other film related endeavors. Recently Trevor received his first director credit for King of The Roadies, a feature documentary he co-directed alongside his cousin over the course of fifteen years that it was in production; the documentary was featured in both Rolling Stone & Texas Monthly. As of 2021 Trevor is living in Los Angeles focusing on his work as an actor. Although he's based in California, Trevor keeps close ties to the Texas film community and returns regularly.
